Who is the best antagonist in a GTA game? I would say it is either Dimitri or Officer Tenpenny.

Dimitri hands down. Unlike other villains (Except maybe Smoke) Dimitri had Niko's trust. Most of all GTA villains are scum the moment we first see them. Dimitri was different.

I thought he was going to be a good guy at first, and people like Vlad and Faustin to be the main enemies. I like guys like that in a game, they befriend you but in the end will stab you in the back and hurt you where it hurts most. That is also what I liked about Rascalov and Pegorino.

I thought Dimitri was going to be a friend as well especially since it seemed he had a good reason for killing Faustin. He was a drug addict who was ordering hits left and right and generally going over the edge. He also an abusive husband and an unlikable guy all around so I actually agreed with Dimitri that he needed to go. He is the only character where I genuinely did not see it coming.

Yeah same. I liked how they managed to obtain Niko's trust, and then betray him when we least expect it.
