I'm not really sure on how to go about ordering stuff from Amazon. Not to mention, the international shipping charges are quite high.

Can you guys just recommend me something from the website that I listed in my first post? That would be convenient for me as I have ordered stuff from there before and they offer the best service in India.

Sennheiser HD595

I researched my ass off when I bought these a couple years ago. Hooked em up to an AstroMixamp (a bit cumbersome for a laptop I suppose), and bought a clip on Zalman mic for $10.

The phones were $150-$200, the MixAmp was $150.

It's the best electronics investment I've ever made. Games and music sound so... f*cking... incredible...

BTW, Beats by Dre make me want to puke. Don't waste your money on that trendy bullsh*t.

Cost only 20 bucks, exceptional sound. They sit well, they have great bass, but just the right amount so that it doesn't drown the treble (like beats do)
Just overall quality and amazing sound. you can fold them together to the size of a fist too
oh and they sell them f*cking everywhere

Koss I concur on, I wasn't looking for much more then a deal, and their design won my appeal first, but sonically they held up to my demands. As mentioned, bass response kicking down the treble is unacceptable performance, it just sounds horrid

Pretty darn good. They're neither too loud nor too quiet. They fit on my ears perfectly and are not uncomfortable like some headphones that you need to remove every now and then just to give your ears some comfort. The only thing missing from it is a volume control button but that's not a problem if you don't intend to move around your place with them on.

If you're looking for something good and don't wish to spend a lot of money, then these are a great buy.
