well from the time who i have seen some videos and pictures about cj's mother
i'm asking myself if cj's mother is dead or not but some peoples tell me yes and the others tell me no

CJ's mother was killed in a drive-by which Ballas did at CJ's house, using the Green Sabre, mentioned and even displayed in some missions.
It can be seen in "The Introduction" which is a movie made by R* that explains what happened before the game's events, that was included with the game's official soundtrack.
