Rural areas of the US have more older model cars and plenty of trucks.. Lots of BIG trucks!! wow.gif I'm originally from outside the US, but live in San Fransisco, CA..

<EDIT> Lots of Japanese cars, mostly older model Honda's that are kind of beat up and made to be these annoying little racers..

Sadly, cause I think the 1985 is a cuter car.
What I found curious when I visited NYC is that I saw at least 3 1980s Impala/Caprice, while I didn't see many other cars of that era and even more modern...

Seems in this case was not only the maintenance, but the model, since 3 of the same brand and similar years can't be just casuality smile.gif

I've heard stories of a Lexus going for 500,000 miles on the original engine and transmission. Like you said, it really just depends on how well the car is taken care of.

You do see older cars sometimes in New York City but not that much, it really just depends on which borough you go in to.

Well, I saw one of them in Times Square, stopped in a crossroad, other in the door of my hotel, near the Empire State, and other parked in a residential area next to one of the expressway that goes to the airport. I also saw many 80s Lincoln Town car parked, and in Harlem two 70s inmense american cars parked, but I couldn't see them better since I was moving in a vehicle. And that was the past year.

Best bet is just to look for random american cars to download as they all can be found in usa on a normal basis. I live in Iowa, used to live in los angeles. muscle cars here and there and between. even old ford pintos! living here isnt the same as goodle street view as you cant wander around like in real life, and its a slow process to move down the street to see the same cars but in a different location. ALL of my mods ive downloaded are american (no offence to the rest of the world). I even added my real car to the game, 1983 camaro z28.

i installed all american classics and most common cars and of course all muscles cars plus few euro and nippon cars for realism . here's my install , cars are installed according to sounds engines

user posted image

on a first hand you would have installed the F430 on the turismo but super gt sound engine is much better , same for the 911 , on a first hand you would have put it on comet but coquette sound engine is better . i think this is caused by the fact that R* wants to avoid any trial of any kind . the only one that is missing is the vette but i was out of space and a great Mustang cabriolet was released so i had to make a choice . i could have removed another japanese or euro car but i would have lost in realism . btw if you want a realistc handling for one of these , you know where to find me . now i would like to find few semi-heavy livery trucks and it would great
