Look what I have found! According to the Observer, Houser has another condo at 20 Greene Street, Soho. I searched it on Google Maps and found an L.A. Noire sticker on a roadblock! ( LINK) | QUOTE (The Observer) | | (...) the LLC was registered to a condo Mr. Houser owns at 20 Greene Street in Soho. Proving 70 Willow is not his first sizable buy, his 4,324-square-foot loft was purchased in 2006 for $6.25 million. |
The Streetview photo was taken in July, 2011, a month after L.A. Noire was released. Is it possible that Dan Houser himself put that sticker there? Maybe he knew about the Google Streetview car coming around there that time, and therefore he put a sticker there to promote the game? Or anybody else could also stick that thing there. Interesting EDIT: There's another sticker on a nearby lamp post. lol EDIT #2: And another one on a fence. EDIT #3: Another stickers on a lamp post and a traffic light.Note: The large house which had the GTA IV/TLAD/CTW murals on it, is also in the end of the street. Awesome. Well all in all we kinda all paid for that house so it's related somewhat wouldn't ya say? |
Money from previous games not GTA V |
More likely his credit rating needed to get the mortgage is based on future value of TTWO stock, which of course is based on how well GTAV will sell. So in a sense it is a GTAV related story. He probably even had to tell the bank when the release date is, so they could assess the expected time of the rise in the stock price. Maybe he even had to tell them who the protagonist will be.
