Wait, you have for PS2? notify.gif

Then we can only suggest you to watch videos about collectables or plug in your game with PC and download a starter save for PS2.

There is a code tool, created by Demarest, called Pillager, located HERE in the PINNED Downloads Database topic, which puts the locations of the collectibles on the in-game radar(you choose which order you want it to display-tags, horseshoes, photo ops, oysters, etc.) It is that easy..I have confirmed that this works on ALL game versions-V2 and V3-and Demarest(the creator) confirmed it on V1...So, just a friendly heads up, that you could have found this out with a look at the PINNED topics... tounge2.gif lol.gif

Also, Note that SAMA is NOT always reliable, as it DOES NOT work on some PC's-for example, it DOES NOT work on my old XP Home laptop, nor did it work when I had my old XP Home desktop, yet it works on my XP Pro and Windows 7 PC's and Vista too..

What are you talking about? If you mean the Code Tool I linked to, it goes in the *install directory/data/script folder-it is an Main.scm replacement(make sure you back up the Original Main.scm FIRST by renaming it to something like MainORIGINAL.scm)...then just load up the game...The Default Install directory is the C Drive on your User Account...Just a friendly heads up. smile.gif

What's the point of finding all those tags and whatnot if you don't feel like doing it anyway. I remember GTA3 gave you some weapons at your hideout, but after that I stopped caring.

Simple answer is don't. Unless you are playing for the 100% completion.
Gang Tags puts: AK47 assault Rifle, Tec-9, Molotov coctails, Sawn off Shotgun in CJ's Kitchen.
Snap shots puts: Shotgun, Sniper-Rifle, Handgrenade, mini-SMG next to the Doherty Garage (and $100,000 one time prize).
Horseshoes puts: Combat Shotgun, M4 Assault Rifle, SMG, Demo Charges outside the Four Dragons Casino (and $100,000 one time prize).
Oysters merely lets CJ date any Girlfriend without need to meet the GF's special 'needs' (and $100,000 one time prize).

Best use of Molotov Cocktails is when CJ is Fireproof (Do the Firefighting Sub-missions.)

Just go to google images and search
gta sa tags locations
gta sa oysters locations
gta sa horseshoes locations
gta sa photo ops locations
Just right click on the image and save it. I have Ps2 and all I do is have my laptop open in front of me with the map of what Im looking for. So easy.
Remember it's easier to find tags on a bike, motorcycle or on foot. Just watch out for gangs and police.
For horseshoes, use the jetpack.
For oysters, use the seasparrow or a boat, boating takes forever though, some oysters are found inland too.
Alternatively, use the jet pack, land on shore then swim to the location. For snap shots, use jet pack to get to the areas or use a motorcycle. Remember the snap shots have a pinkish glowing orb from 00:00-05:00 which makes them easier to find. Another tip is make sure you keep track of which ones you find so you don't miss any! Nothing worse than missing one so then you have to go back and check each spot!

Out of all collectables I mostly enjoyed the shells. I swam around the whole state and enjoyed some outstanding scenic views, which you don't usually see from the roads. The ambient sound blends in perfectly with the atmosphere.

Quite liked the horseshoes too.

This thread is like an orgy of cheating... smile.gif

OT: Aaahhh... Snapshots. They're my favourite of the 4 collectables in the game. Loved looking around for the eerie yellow glow at night time showing you where they are. It's the same glow that sometimes occurs after you fire an RPG and it creates a fire.

As for snapshots, I think Rockstar messed this part up a bit, like they rushed to finish it off. Most snapshots are of interesting scenery but there is a few that are nothing interesting or the orb thing is in a weird location. Example, one is above the bridge and it's way up in the sky. Wow, how interesting, a photo of...sky. Lol. I think the orb was placed there and Rockstar developers were supposed to move it down lower, just above the bridge but it was forgotten about.
OT: I enjoyed tags and horseshoes the most

Now I'm finished with the snapshots. Next up is the last three horseshoes. Then I have to get the ambulance, pimping, truck, quarry, vigilante, taxi, firetruck, and freight train missions, dirt track race, and a few tournaments and I'm done.

Oh and by the way my girlfriend Millie dumped me. So breaking the bank at Caligua's Casino came up and I beat it.
