Well, a friend of mine who knows a friend of mine has told me that the newest rumor that he got told is that GTA V will feature Iphones!

Now I wonder if there will be other smartphones too?

And how should this battle of the smartphones work out?

Maybe we will be able to download apps for our phones!!!!

Imagine the modding community would be able to do flash apps or something that we can use on our smartphones in GTA!


And one more question:
How would they parody Apple?

Do you think rockstar is generally pro apple or against it? (speaking of sympathy)

As for Rockstar taking the piss out of Apple, I think they'll go for ridiculing the stereotypical Apple customer. If not, then they won't do anything. Calling it Pine-Apple or some rubbish pun like that would be too easy.

Apple is already parodied as Fruit.

I'd like to see a parody of the iPod or iPhone that you could buy. Perhaps there could be a few useless apps such as time, calendar, music, etc. Maybe you can download apps.

There will probably just be a parody brand, if there's any branding at all that relates to a real world one. There certainly won't be apps, and the "modding community" certainly won't waste their time making new ones to go on the phone.

It's emphasising the prevalence of style over substance when it comes to iPhones, it's not really relevant today when they're the dogs bollocks, but back when they and GTA IV were first released they were pretty awful when it came to functionality. Very limited storage capacity compared to other phones on the market which chiefly used memory cards.

WHAT IF, R* actually created a REAL APP for V for ios and android based smart phones that would allow the player to interact with the game in some manner if the player owns have such a phone?
