its gonna be both. if theres multi protags then for defo where gonna see the "gangsta" side as well as the "boss" and "professional criminal/thief" protag. all different walks of crime are gonna conflict in this episode. im sure of it.

When we see the protagonist banging on the side of the van to call his crew out to do the heist, it makes me feel that he will be able to recruit crew members himself. He could either pay them or do missions/favours for them.

By the sound of his voice, granted that that's actually the portagonist speaking, I can tell he certainly won't be a gang member like CJ. I say freelance, and maybe be a mob boss or something like that.

Mafia/Mob is totally different from gangs, and that's stating the obvious.

I'd rather the protagonist start is own clique than already be a part of one. If Ned Luke is the protagonist I think the Soft Foods Denture Gang would be a good fit

I would like to start of freelance, and then later build up my own gang. If the protagonist is gonna be that middle-aged guy, then yeah it would be my own Mafia outfit, but that would be unrealistic as the Mafia don't really have that much of a presence in Los Angeles.

If we do get to play as the Hispanic or Black guy, then the idea of building up my own gang would be more appealing to me.
