Are you aware of what a .dff is?

A .dff file is a 3d model. It's not text, so you cannot open it in notepad.
You need to use a 3d program like 3dsmax and an import script like kams scripts.

A .dff file is an 3D model. You can only open it with a 3D Modelling Programm like GMAX, 3DS Max. With notepad you can only open .ide, .dat and .cfg files. If you really want to edit .dff files download GMAX+ KAM's Scripts for it and watch some Tutorials on YouTube.
