@Mandog, nice attempt, you only get better at 3DS the more you use it so we can expect great models from you in the future, your not Hijacking the topic I asked for peoples Input and there opinions and that is what you gave, but dont you agree that a clock tower does not suit it for where it is placed.
I am now on the Home Stretch, I have made a Filler Building for the Block at the end of the Path, now I just have to finish the Path and what goes next to the Path, Then it is Break Up the Model, and Export for MooMapping then In Game Testing.

Thanks Bam, I have started putting some parts of the Map IG, Perhaps after a few more Posts from People I will show the IG Pics, It has turned out Fantastic, but I feel I might need to come back to this in the future and update it.
ALMOST610, you better to alter the tower as it looks when you see its lod http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v7xkv4LhPyg . Just add some windows under the roof leave the color as it must have(grey). Of course you can do some details else if you choose version i've showed.

I think I will leave it as is, if you look at some of the surrounding LODS that get loaded with the Tower they use that same texture being that Creamy colour despite the real models looking completely different it was most likely just a filler Texture they used.

Yeah well done, good work there.
Adding patches of dirt/grime to the whole ground area and adding airplane wheel skidmarks on the actual runway would add detail too, stairs-on-wheels and more grounded planes too.
Edit: Ah ok, good plan to get the whole base to match the LOD first.

Also Thanks, I will have to add more Generic Things, I just tried to match some things to the LOD map, I have not actually added in the Whole Beta Airport that would be about a little less than Half of it, I also still have a few things to model also so other bits can be added.

Yeah I will have to fix the Radar, but that will be the last thing I do, also I am not sure if I should modify MAIN.SCM or not to remove the military vehicles, or is there a way using CLEO that I can stop them from Spawning there.
Perhaps someone can help me with some Coding on that one, I would rather remove them with CLEO than Modify the SCM so people don't have to start new games, I would also like to remove some weapon spawns that are now floating in the Sky due to the Military Buildings being removed.

Not much progress as I have been working on this mod when I had a quiet day or school so possibly some more things could get done today or in the next week.

It does, the skimmer. Plus it is possible to add plane handling to other vehicles, so not a hug leap to think flyable jets are possible
obviously this needs some more tweaking, but you get the idea.
I've been trying to do a proper handling which resembles a real plane, not just a tricked skimmer for a while, but none of the methods seemed to work.
Tried vehicle loaders, and other stuff, but the closest I've got to making a proper plane is reproducing the rcbaron, with a different model, like the model of the dodo. It works, but lacks working propellers, and other pieces of the wing (turning rudder, and stuff).
The problem with the skimmer is that, it's damn nearly impossible to take off from ground with it, and even with some editing in the handling.cfg file, it makes sparks on the ground, which destroys the illusion of driving a plane. Although, with several collision tweaks, I've got rid of the sparks, but then you need to get rid of the sound which is associated with the collision you have chosen to replace the original one.
On-topic: The airport is nice! Looking forward to the release.
