I think people are missing the concept of this thread, which is "Rate the song above you". It's in the f*cking title.

Some pretty good memories about that... I don't like it too much though.

5%. It's just not "GTAish"

f*cking BoC. My favorite. And great mood for driving. 90%

Since California (even a fictional representation of it) is a fairly liberal state, and probably has a lot of weed supporters.
Perhaps we could have a nice Stoner/doom metal station.

I never knew of that genre of music. I always associated stoners with 60s music and/or trance. 15%.

This song 100% one of the bet rap songs of all times. V.

50%, I feel that it won't really suit GTA V.

This on the other hand, is a must:

The theme song for the Ron Howard movie "Grand Theft Auto" which was released in 1977. I'm sure that GTA got it's name from the movie.

^^85% chance

I am not going to look through all of these pages, so if this song was already posted then oh well:

I think this song has a good chance of being in the game for some reason.

65%: Very rare but okay song, would work on a 50s rock station.

Here's one, a soft rock track from KISS. It's very light-hearted compared to what you'd expect for a KISS song:

That one's interesting. It'd be kind of out of left field on a K-DST kind of station because it's soft rock, but V probably won't have a specific station. Also, IDK if licensing for KISS is affordable, though it'd be less for a lesser-known song like that. 20%.

This is a good 'crime-themed' classic:

They've had Kiss songs in SA (Strutter) and VCS (Lick It Up) definitely and maybe others I forget.

70%, if it's on some kind of 50s station.

Oh man, The doors hits me in a soft spot. And I can totally imagine myself listening to that while driving in (my visual representation of) GTA V

--------------------------------------------------------------------------

This band is from the Bay Area San Francisco.
But this song could still be relevant in some way to V, in that it's about all of the forest fires that attacked a lot of rich homes in the hills in California during the 80's
