| QUOTE (Capricornus @ Tuesday, Mar 20 2012, 13:34) | I also feel that the 49ers would have been a better fit. I guess that Peyton did not want to be in a situation that would possibly lead up to him eliminating his own brother for Superbowl contention. Maybe he would rather face him in the superbowl, if he makes it there?
Anyway, I am sure that Peyton has his reasons alongside of the whole John Elway thing. | Peyton to the 49ers would have changed the balance of power in the NFC, and made SF the favorites to win the Super Bowl. From everything I've read, what you said about Peyton not wanting to face Eli in a conference championship is true. Plus, Peyton wanted to stay in the AFC, being more familiar with those teams. As more my Super Bowl champion Giants, we lost Jacobs, Manningham and now Aaron Ross who signed with Jacksonville. Such is life in the NFL. You can't keep everybody.

Ahmad Bradshaw is great, I would who would accompany him besides DJ Ware? And also, where do you all see Tebow going?

And also, where do you all see Tebow going? | Manningham wanted a bigger role and more money. It wasn't going to happen in NY, with Nicks and Cruz the primary targets. I'll miss him - dude made some BIG catches in the playoffs, the biggest in the Super Bowl. Right now, Jerry Reese can do no wrong. I'm sure he'll find another running back to complement Bradshaw. I think we have a couple of young backs already. Now they get a chace to prove themselves. Unfortunately, Tebowmania will not die. He'll probably go to Jacksonville or Miami. He's considered a god in Florida.

| QUOTE (DOOM! @ Wednesday, Mar 21 2012, 10:39) | | Denver needs to get rid of Tebow. The last thing Manning, Elway and the Bronco's organization needs is Mile High stadium chanting Tebow as soon as Manning messes up. Be prepared to hear about the likes of Julius Thomas, Eric Decker, Demariyus Thomas and the re-emergence of Eddie Royal. |
Indeed. When Peyton was playing for my Colts, he really turned Austin Collie and Pierre Garcon into some nice recievers. Before that we didn't really know who they were. I think it'd be great if Dallas Clark and Jeff Saturday were to join Manning in Denver, but maybe its a long shot. I fail to see who on earth will try to pick up Curtis Painter, even as a third string QB lmao. This post has been edited by Capricornus on Wednesday, Mar 21 2012, 14:32

| QUOTE (Funktipus @ Wednesday, Mar 21 2012, 16:57) | Breaking news from WFAN:
Broncos traded Tebow to the Jets for a 4th round pick. Dumb Jets. I wouldn't give up a 7th round pick for that dude. This wasn't a football move. The Jets braintrust can't get over the Giants beating them and going on to win the Super Bowl. They hate being second to Big Blue. The Tebow move is all about publicity, headlines and selling tickets/jerseys. Tebow isn't all that, but he's extremly popular and generates buzz. Woody Johnson(the Jets owner) wants that.
The NFL has suspended Sean Payton for a year. | Wow, Sean Peyton suspended for a year.. With this whole bounty thing, I wonder if his image will be tarnished a bit. Tebow going to the Jets, not thay good of a move. Now they have two crappy QB's for Santonio Holmes to get pissed with. I know they feel he can ease the tension in the locker room and help with Wildcat offenses, but he's just a sh*tty QB. Waste of money. At least he will fill in the seats and sell those jerseys.
