| QUOTE (DOOM! @ Wednesday, Aug 1 2012, 00:39) | | QUOTE (TUBBSthezombie @ Tuesday, Jul 31 2012, 09:55) | | People are sleeping on the Seahawks like they did in 2005. |
You don't even know if you guys have a 'decent' quarterback yet. The Seahawks did pick up Braylon Edwards, which is a 'eh' pick up but if he plays he can product, especially with the young WR core the Hawks have. | The Hawks Defense is on the edge of being top tier. All they need is a pass rush and quality LB play. With adding Bruce Irvin and Jason Jones the seahawks could very well have that pass rush. With their stellar DB play from Thomas, Chancellor, Browner, and Sherman and the (re) addition of Marcus Trufant to play the nickle (some dont realize but Trufant is one of the faster CBs in the league) and highly underrated LB KJ Wright and Leroy Hill. I like.... no. I love the Seahawks defense. The offense was shaky at best last year. However we do have talent. Tate shined at the half way point on. And Baldwin is obvious. I believe he was at least top 5 in Yards after Catch. And Ricardo Lockette has burner speed i've never seen before, and he's worked on his route running and catching the entire offseason. The dude has set a goal for himself of never dropping a pas during training camp or preseason. And so far he's been successful. Maybe i have too much faith in the coaching staff. The staff struck (temporary) gold with Mike Williams and struck golden deals to get Chris Clemons and Leon Washington. They've found diamonds in the rough with Sherman, Baldwin, Wright.

Who's your favorite NFL team?
What's the overall opinion of American football in Great Britain? |
Atlanta Falcons, yours?
It's getting quite popular these days. There's not a lot of places to play due to the expense of everything, but more people are interested overall than ever I'd say. It's a bit awkward watching games as they go on into the early hours of the morning, but I'd say the overall opinion is very high as once a year two NFL teams play eachother at Wembley and the event sells out pretty quickly. | I support my hometown New York Giants. Things have been good for us since 1986.

| QUOTE (Duke Mancini @ Sunday, Aug 12 2012, 21:01) | | QUOTE (Funktipus @ Sunday, Aug 12 2012, 12:03) | I feel bad for Sanchez - look at who the Jets surrounded him with. Aside from Holmes, who are the playmakers? Who scares the defense? What was the front office thinking? Now Rex Ryan says he's open to using Tebow more to make up for the weaknesses in the o-line. What a hot mess.
Just heard Plax is working out for the Patriots. |
The Jets offence is a joke. Im a Jets fan and ill agree with that even. Holmes is a play maker, but hes also a loud mouth. I perdict another 8-8 season, Atleast Quinton Coples is looking impressive. | I'm surprised there isn't more heat on Mike Tannenbaum. Instead of giving Sanchez a left tackle, stud running back and better receivers, he gives him Tim Tebow, the biggest distraction you could have.
