That hard to draw a curved line? then just rotate it around until you match the pattern on the V logo.

Search online for some tutorials on using the pen tool. I am not denying it's a complex tool to learn, I still don't know how to use it properly. But I'm afraid that's how R* made their logo and there's no other way to get that result, unless you made a custom pattern and then just used the fill tool. But you'd still require the pen tool to make the pattern in the first place.

PSDTuts - You'll find plenty of useful tips and tutorials about the pen tool there.
