Why is this even being discussed this early? It's in June, right now it's February, how about we get Max Pain 3 out of our A-holes and then we can magically predict a GTA V trailer at E3, god, we really don't have anything else to talk about do we?

No it's not, Take-2 have near enough always been at E3, they were there last year for 2K when they were showing off BioShock 3, as well as other developers that fall under them. To think it's suddenly "interesting" that Take-2 are there this year for is about as much of an excuse for thinking it's "interesting" that Sony are there this year.

Well, I don't believe it either, but there is a slight chance they could have a change of heart. Other than that, 343 studios hasn't said anything about E3 and it is likely that they will be doing something for Halo 4. Considering MP3 comes out in May, it is their best priority to try E3 for one year and see how that goes, if they don't say anything before the MP3 release, I'm afraid E3 is all we have.

Rockstar, lately has not been much attentive to E3, but I have had read somewhere regarding the support provided to E3 by Take-2 Games. They have been too lazy to reveal anything about GTA V and would not tell us anything before Max Payne 3 is released.

why do people think Take Two will announce V? They wont, that's R*'s field.

Take Two would be there most likely for 2K games, But if Rockstar WAS there, they would be under the Take Two banner imo - T2 would keep their cars close to their chests imo.

It may just be me but I kind of think it suits Rockstar's style to announce it how they like, not revealing it at E3 is quite unique and in a way makes you realize how independent they really are.
I don't mind Rockstar releasing info/announcing their titles outside of an E3 event, I don't see why it would or should change this time around to be honest.

GTA has had some good times at E3 before... as mentioned above there was the GTA IV announcement, and I believe GTA III also had quite some coverage in 2001? But if they aren't signed up, it seems unlikely anything about it will be there. I think a magazine information reveal will be the next thing we see...
