Go to Graphics Options and check if VSync is turned OFF.

If that doesn't help, then post your system specifications and let us know if you have any mods installed.

Fuuuuu , now it with the eflc , in the 2nd mission of that scrubs guy (tlad) and momm's boy (tbogt ) vsync is disabled (i'm on win 7 , i run the game as an administrator)

Have you maybe forced vsync on through your GPU control panel? At which point exactly does it stop?

trainers (as far as i know) have nothing to do with traffic fixes . i think of 2 things . first you have a traffic fix (script) installed and the huge amount of textures to be loaded makes the game to load endlessly ; second you have a modified timecyc and when you saved last time you "sent" the game into a buggy timecyc period and the game bugs/doesn't load

The savegame can get corrupted. I suggest keeping multiple savegames so you can try reverting back if you experience more problems. On every of my playthroughs, with both GTAIV and EFLC, I had gamebreaking savegame problems.

xliveless and downloaded savegames in these cases are usually the best way to go.

deactivate all your mods that can be deactivated and give it a try . if that doesn't work , reinstall and try with vanilla . if that still doesn't work update your graphic drivers . and if that still doesn't work open yourself a beer , if you're not muslim

Looks like you have forgotten that this is a English Speaking forum. @OP: Vanilla refers to GTA 4 (Original).

I think it's a blacksreen problem here. Try to turn off background programs. Maybe the VSync wasn't enough.
