[REL]GTA 3 Moding

This tutorial is very easy, anyone can do it !

1. What you need:
A rooted Android smartphone
GTA III installed and additional files downloaded
Go to Téléchargements > Utilitaires and download APK Tool Kit

2. Features:
This modification will allow you to install custom main.scm files (missions scripts)
This mod also modify the HUD with new cool discrete icons
It also rename the application "GTA 3" rather than "GTA 3 10 ANNIVERSARY"

3. Instructions:

1. Place your GTA APK app in the APKtool folder and rename it "GTA3v12.apk"

2. Click EXTRACT.bat, a new folder named GTA3v12 has been created

NOTE : THE BATCH DOESN'T WORK ?! NOTHING HAPPENS ? FOLLOW THIS:
Right click "Computer"
Left click "Properties"
In the left column, left click "Advanced System Parameters"
A new window opens, go to "Paramètres système avancés" tab
Left click on the "Environment variable's" button
Search "Variables système" > Search "Path", left click on it
Modify it and add at the end C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre6\bin\
Confirm all windows

3. Click INSTALL.bat. Type "T" to confirm the copy

4. Click BUILD.bat and wait for the CMD prompt to finish
When the prompt is gone; drag'n drop the GTA3v12.apk into PPCGeeks application
Click "Sign" and copy the new file "GTA3v12-signed.apk" into your SD Card


5. On your phone SD card rename the com.rockstar.gta3 folder to com.rockstar.gta3x
~\Android\data\com.rockstar.gta3x

6. Uninstall GTA 3 on your phone

7. Install "GTA3v12-signed.apk"

8. Rename the com.rockstar.gta3x folder to com.rockstar.gta3

9. Launch the game, accept EULA and run a new game
Saves are not compatible between the official and the modded versions

4. FAQ:
How do I play the missions ? (original game)
Download and copy the original SCM file in this folder :

sdcard\Android\data\com.rockstar.gta3\files\GTA3\data\main.scm

Your old saves now work.

How do I install script mods ?
Download and mod and copy the SCM file in this folder :

sdcard\Android\data\com.rockstar.gta3\files\GTA3\data\main.scm

To download the mods go to :
Téléchargements > Mods
