| QUOTE (-S-hark21 @ Saturday, Feb 18 2012, 00:25) | I've played the second mission and here's my feedback
1. Man, you made a twist there. The Scars have 250 members! And now it's double. Damn!
2. Love the way you made story on how they captured women. I didn't expect that.
By the way, how did Alex know Jethro Cruz is? Can you explain it? Maybe I miss it in the mission.
That's all my feedback on the second mission Rating : 9.0/10 | Hey, man. Thanks a lot for the great feedback and again a very high rating I really appreciate it.
Well, on the invitation Alex found in the van it said that the party host is Jethro Cruz. Since Alex is a highly trained FBI expert, when he got to the estates, he just said: ''I guess that's Jethro Cruz'', he doesn't know for sure that the guy talking in front of everybody is Jethro Cruz. He just guessed it. However, he is right. The guy talking in front of everybody is really him
I hope this cleares it out for you This post has been edited by Jimmy_Leppard on Saturday, Feb 18 2012, 07:47

Ahhaha, man, I just love your missions Jimmy. Designing and all. And you really have great dialogues for the characters. Guard: Are you on the guest list? Alex: No. (hits the guard in the face) One of the most epic lines in DYOM history I've seen Can't wait to see how the story continues. | Haha. Thanks, man. I love your comments as always I'm glad you liked the mission.
Well, Alex is trying to save his younger sister and having in mind he was a highly trained FBI member for a long time, he is definitely ''extreme'' type of character, so.. Believe me, this will not be the only ''extreme'' play by Alex through the series

Created 2 years ago and has 250+ members? Wow, that's a f**king nice things. You put an interesting points in it. Great job.
Btw, I loved the quotes. | Thanks, man Well, I checked, and in the U.S. trafficking in women is a job that spreads quickly and attracts a lot of attention of the crime families, gangs, mafias etc. so.. It is perfectly possible
And thanks

I played the missions, here's some feedback. The story presentation is very nice, as always. Cutscene angles, animation choices etc. were good. Also, as I expect from the mission packs I intend to play, there was story introduction instead of action scenes. (gunfights etc.) And the plot generally reminded me the movie named "Taken". It was also about a ex-agent trying to save a woman from a trafficking network. Nice choice of theme. All things considered, missions are very nice. You know how to make an introduction to your mission packs. Well done mate. This post has been edited by BDR on Saturday, Feb 18 2012, 22:06

Well, yeah. As I've said many times before, I like to get more deep into the story and so much into 100% action-one-man-army things like in the regular GTA games.
I've never watched the movie. If it's about what you said it is, I will definitely watch it
Thanks again for the feedback. I appreciate it

Important notice:
Guys, I'm sorry for not publishing a new mission of the series, but in the past few days I've had many exams at my school and yesterday I got a cold, so I mostly sit at home cause I can't do anything else until I get over this cold.
Anyway, I already started making the third mission before the exams and the cold, so when I start feeling better, I'm gonna do my best to finish it as soon as I can and publish it.
I posted this just to make sure nobody thinks I ditched the mission series or something.

| QUOTE (Nitesh aka AAAAAAA @ Monday, Mar 5 2012, 13:16) | Played the two missions.
I really don't have much to say as it's only the first two missions, but so far it looks good.
Something that I noticed in the second mission, you spawned a new locked car before the fight starts. I can guess you did that so that the player can't use it to run down those guys, but then, I had used a completely different car to reach there. I always take any good car that I can find on the road. So it can also be considered as a negative. Btw, that's just a thought I had as I was playing that part because even I can't really decide whether it was appropriate or not to use that kind of a trick as it has both its negative and positive.
Hope you continue with this soon. I am a fan of 'Kidnap' type of missions. | Hey, man. Thanks for the feedback. It's good to see that people didn't forget about it already since I've been very busy and couldn't work on this.
Well, yeah. That's exactly why I spawned another locked car cause I want it to feel like a brawl fight and not like a run-over fight I figured it couldn't do any harm to the mission concept since it's the end of the mission and the player doesn't have to use the car after the brawl fight, you know, so... I guess it's a + for some players and a - for other players.
As for the mission series, I don't know when I'm gonna continue it, but I'm surely going to continue it, it won't be ditched.

| QUOTE (Notna @ Monday, Mar 19 2012, 14:05) | How's the progress?
Just bumping so this doesn't disappear | Thanks, man
Well, not so good. In fact, I haven't been able to touch DYOM since the last published mission and unfortunately, I won't be able to work on this MP for some more time cause since I'm a senior at my school, every week, every test or even a pop quiz matters because with better grades now I'll have more chance to get into college. And we all know that you can't manage to become something or somebody in this world if you don't push your limits.
I guess this is what it means to be partially retired. I hope I'll find some time to work atleast on the plot and just transcribe it to DYOM when I get the chance. Until then, see ya, guys

Just to let everyone who's keeping an eye on this mission series know that I'm considering coming back to work on this series.
Since this was postponed because of many reasons and circumstances, over the weeks I've lost the will to work on this aswell as the ideas to continue it and a few weeks ago I was thinking about canceling ''Kidnapped''. However, for the past 3 or 4 days I started getting some pretty good ideas for the series, but as I said, I'm still just considering all this cause from my experience, the worst thing you can do is to force yourself into continuing a mission series without proper and well-thought ideas. It leads to nowhere but canceling the mission series or failing to roll out the story as you wanted. I think the majority of DYOM-ers, if not every DYOM-er has found himself in that kind of position atleast once in his career, so you probably know what I'm talking about.
So, this is not an ''official coming back to business'' announcement, just a quick brief to let you know that I'm trying to think of some ideas to pick up the story from where I left it.
So long,
Jimmy
