For the sake of this forum, please bring back the time limit.


The time needed to post a request at the GFX section.


I remember it along time ago, it was 1 week before you post request and 3-5 days for a bump.


What happened? It is a total mess their.

I would imagine this would be to hard to control since there is no way to unless you get mods to and I am sure they don't want to and have better things to do and it's simple, just ignore the person and if they bump the topic then tell a mod to close it.

GFX people can decide to make it for them and if no one does it oh well. I just don't see the issue here.

The time limit has never really been enforced, the forum has just seen an influx of mindless idiots that spam the section there.

I also never seen you actually helping with GFX requests, so goodness knows what difference it makes to you.

As for suggestions to solve the issue, the best way would be for temporary bans of posters that don't don't abide by the rules (which need to be clearly defined beforehand).

I remember actually when some people did requests before the time limit and these topics got locked until the time passed. Thing is now moderators most likely have more things on their plate and the influx of noobs is increasing exponentially. Maybe some sort of script implementation for that forum... But with the amount of mods this forum has, I think the hamsters would just start dying.

I wanted the rules back, but before doing something is good to discuss with other staff members, then we decided that graphic artists do them if they wish.

Yeah, they were badly needed. I remember the GFX section used to be full of artists willing to do requests, but then it just got overloaded with impatient and ungrateful people. Everyone will probably complain it's too strict now, but that section is better already.

I guarentee nobody will read them though, maybe you could get one of the admins to put the rules as a banner, like they do in the modding sections?
