Oh, misunderstood you. But yeah, most people seem to just click their issues and sign out. If it takes a civil war to create action, might as well go for it, I say. Won't affect anybody unless they want it to, after all. Easier than trying to negotiate who wins some pre-planned war with another player.

Three-Power Pact [Axis Pact]

The pact was signed by representatives of Argfenstein (Adenoid Hynkel), Fegelein Hermanny (Hermann Fegelein), and the Kingdom of Shaffey (King Shaffey).
The three nations agreed that for the next ten years they would "stand by and co-operate with one another in... their prime purpose to establish and maintain a new order of things... to promote the mutual prosperity and welfare of the peoples concerned." They recognized each other's spheres of interest and undertook "to assist one another with all political, economic and military means when one of the three contracting powers is attacked".

On this glorious day for Fegelein Hermanny, citizens flock for their first view of the Kriegsmarine’s new state-of-the-art aircraft carrier, christened the Graf Jeppelin, namesake of our very own industrious Ferdinand von Jeppelin. The Graf Jeppelin will take its maiden voyage as well as undergo aircraft testing in the sea within two weeks, but in the meantime, the vessel will be open for viewing by the public. Senior officer, Captain Samuel Rothschild, to take the helm of the Graf Jeppelin after its commission, was caught by our reporter on the scene, Karl Schwartz, for an interview:

Schwartz: “Heil Fegelein, Captain.”

KptzS. Rothschild: “Heil Fegelein, citizen.”

Schwartz: “Karl Schwartz, from the Reich Reporter. I understand that this will be your naval vessel in the oncoming weeks?”

KptzS. Rothschild: “Yes, we will be carrying out joint exercises with the Luftwaffe to gauge the effectiveness of the Graf Jeppelin as a platform for launching numerous types of aircraft.”

Schwartz: “Speaking of aircraft, one of our photographers snapped an interesting photo last week before the official unveiling of the Graf Jeppelin. In it, I see an unusual aircraft, which our readers on the internet have supposed to be a UFO, or a flying saucer, even. What do you have to say of this photograph?”



KptzS. Rothschild: “Oh that? Why, it’s simply a weather balloon which we agreed to test on behalf of a private atmospheric testing organization. Your readers must have some imagination to believe otherwise.”

Schwartz: “Well it certainly seems like an oddly-shaped weather balloon… would you mind telling our readers what kind of testing this vehicle has been doing in prior weeks?”

KptzS. Rothschild: “I’m sorry, but in respect for a certain private atmospheric testing organization, I am not at liberty to disclose such information. As for the shape of the weather balloon, I believe that the photograph must have been tampered with to mislead your audiences.”

Schwartz: “Surely you don’t believe that this photograph has been fabricated? Our photographer has been in faithful employment to the Reich Reporter for over a decade!”

KptzS. Rothschild: “Not anymore, he’s not.”

Schwartz: “What do you mean? I saw him in his office at- oh, oh no! You don’t mean…?”

Charming fellow, that captain! Why, he even organized a surprise party for our beloved photographer (whose name we must withhold for his privacy), and granted him an all-expenses paid vacation for a month! I wonder if we will hear from <name withheld> again or will he be so caught up in his vacation that he will never want to return? However it turns out, we at the Reich Reporter wish him a happy vacation and we give the best of luck to Captain Rothschild in the coming weeks.

As yet there has been no word from any members of the Three Power Pact regarding the President's words, given weeks ago about the possible illegitimacy of the involvement of the Minister of Security with the Pact.

What about the nations that can be active? They come to the board occasionally and post, but what their activity goes to waste. You yourself only remember NS exists when your position is challenged.

I only remember the role play exists because it only ever does when this topic is bumped for the first time in months. And I answer issues on NS everyday so that isn't quite the case. And yes we would have, just with less soap opera drama and photographs of you holding up paper in order to be allowed back into the region...
