Joe finally took care of Vic. Vic disrespected Omerta so of course it was a matter of time for him to die.

S2E4 is great. I love how you build up the drama for us to wonder what was going to happen next. Really great work. Great acting and dialogue. I can't wait for the next episode.

Part of the oath sworn is to take the family before his own, which means that since his brother went against the family it was his duty to put him on ice. Even though the guy was his younger brother. That there is a perfect example of Joe's integrity and honour towards the family he's sworn to protect.

This episode was one of the better ones, especially after we've just introduced another faction (Schottler Shottaz). However I will admit this, we screwed up on the drive-by scene. Those are always fairly difficult to film.

Some people may find it slow but it isn't your generic machinima that has no story and a sh*t load of action scenes. For a Youtube series the story is quite complex and deep, in fact I've written it to be like a movie (For example; The Departed, Goodfellas, Reservoir Dogs to name a few). Each episode is laid out like a chapter in a movie (like most films by Quinton Tarantino). One particular thing I like to pay attention too while writing the dialogue is making sure it feels natural and not as if it's being read off a script.

My personal favorite scenes of dialogue is the narration for Season2. It's almost like it's foreshadowing and reminiscing about the past. Another great scene is the last scene of Episode3 of Season1 "Lead Rain in Purgatory". The two Triads walking along and discussing how angered they are becoming of the Black Chapters repeated failures.

The next episode I can tell you already a lot is going to happen icon14.gif

EDIT: Also another great scene is the alleyway scene in Episode2 of Season1 "Repercussions". Where Jimmy and Lorenzo have Cyrus cornered in the alley. That is a perfect example of traditional Mafioso intimidation. Not telling the guy what they will do to him but rather make low-key suggestions and let his imagination run wild so he pretty much tells himself to talk before something bad "could" happen to him. One of the more psychological scenes.

What Mr. White said about Omerta is true, it is an oath that a mafia family soon to be made mobster must swear in. Vicent's death is a perfect example of the meaning of Omerta. These videos are very good, I would connect my laptop to my Television and watch the series with my family and we enjoy it.

La Famiglia Criminale Bianco or The Bianco Crime Family will live up to it's name and become the greatest family ever in GTAForums, you have my respects and you are in my good terms Don Bianco. Keep up the good work.

I thank you for the kind words. One thing that is a shame is that not many people know about Kings of Liberty. The viewers is a very small demography made up mainly of people from the Gang Section and few Youtubers who have stumbled across the videos. But to hear the great feedback and how people enjoy it is always a pleasing motivation for us to keep making episodes. However even if people didn't watch them we'd still make them anyways because we enjoy filming them and seeing the finished product is worth every hour spent in the writing/filming/editing process.

We have not yet started filming for the next episode, right now we are in the process of organizing logistics of each scene and how we'd like it to play out. Never the less keep an eye out on this page or our youtube channel because we do intend on releasing small random clips in between episodes icon14.gif

Damn, good job with this. Just saw the first two episodes. That prologue was wicked lol

As for the low views, you should probably add more to the description and tags and maybe make the title's longer. Tags like "mafia" "machinima" "<song name>" "<artist>" etc. will all help you come up on the suggested videos section.
You can check my gang's page to see how we do it, we get pretty steady views.

Episode 1 had a very good atmosphere, it was kinda slow and long but it really set the mood as to what the series was going to be like. Episode 2 is in my opinion one of the best ones. It's not so much about character development anymore but more so resolving the first conflict and setting things in motion before the story actual takes off, setting the stage for episode 3 which is quite cool because you find out the motives behind the kidnapping and why the bounce back by the Italians.

Adding more tags isn't a bad idea, it just seems like a low-ball way of doing it though lol.gif

The initial narration of the first episode is very cool in the fashion that he's describing how the times have changed in Liberty City. Out with the old, in with the new. Yet the "old" aren't going to go down without a fight. In-lies the problem for the Triads seeing how the Italians aren't going to be muscled out like everyone else. They are going to stay and fight until the very last man.

My personal favourite parts are when the black guy in the orange jacket gets killed(S1E2) and when jimmy tells bianco that richie has been captured by the black chapter, cookies to anyone who can work out why I like those scenes.

Because those are the two scenes that you remember having a part in (ie. being the black guy in the project and being Jimmy).

It's been long overdue. Especially with our most recent production complications. Nevertheless, filming for the next episode of Kings of Liberty began earlier this evening. We don't have an exact ETA as to when the episode will be complete but stay tuned.
