How am I supposed to add a police ped?

I used this tutorial:

I replaced one of CJ's girlfriends with a female police skin. Here's how I coded her:

265, copgrl3, copgrl3, COP, STAT_COP, swat, 1FFF, 0, null, 9,9, PED_TYPE_GEN,VOICE_GFD_WFYCLOT ,VOICE_GFD_WFYCLOT

This was done in the PEDS notepad file.

They are virtually identical to the lapd1, lvpd1, and sfpd1 (with the exception of voice).

The question is, how am I supposed to "code" her patrol area? Does the PED_TYPE_ affect her? Can anyone help? Thank you!

It`s possible only with a lot of memory hacking.
Officer IDs are hardcoded and you`ll need to add randomization for these. Not easy though.
Get IDA Pro, Visual C++ or Delphi.
However i never worked to adjust number of police officers.

Here is a mod by SilentPL that increases the number of police officers. What it does is use some pre-existing biker cop models that don't appear in game by default (but which are nevertheless present in gta3.img). Not exactly what you are looking for but source code is included which may prove useful.

Does seem to have some issues. Get the impression bikers spawn more rarely. And once I got a star from one of those bikers that stayed in spite of driving all the way from San Fierro to Los Santos.
