does will crash my PS3 if i have a region 1 version and put my country which im from romania? or shall i get it from amazon?

I have the one...I'm from the Philippines and I bought one with that cover. I read those things at the bottom and it said it must be only shipped in America and Mexico. I wonder why it is in our country.

Anyway,why would you want IV that is from US if there is one for your region? And to answer your question(I'll use my knowledge) I think if the disc is not compatible with the region you have it'll not work

Note for PS3: All games are region-free (work in any PS3 worldwide) but we have to warn people about the fact that the product code of DLC has to match the product code of the disc they are using. This means that people in Europe can play the US version of PS3 games but if they download DLC using their Region 2 PSN account, it will be incompatible and they need to use a US account to find compatible content.

All PS3 games are region free.
I am a hard core ratchet and clank fan and i needed a physical copy of Ratchet and clank Quest for booty for PS3, but the disk was only released in Europe, so i ordered it and got it imported. It works great and its a PAL copy working on an NTSC console. So, you can order a GTA IV disk from america, look here: http://www.ebay.com/ctg/Grand-Theft-Auto-I...id=p3286.c0.m14

Find a copy that ships worldwide. Why do you want an import anyways? Both games in each country are 100% the same you know...

By the way, it wont crash either. Thats the beauty of the PS3, it plays all games from all regions. (except PS1 and PS2 disks still are region locked for whatever reason)

ok mate if i would have money to order GTA IV i would order it from amazon or ebay does will show 60 hz in region 1 version?

PAL is 50 HZ (hertz) NTSC is 60 HZ



and wait does any NTSC PS2 games works on my PAL PS2 slim?

Only on PS2 with modded chips you can play different region games. On stock PAL PS2 straight outta shop you won't be able to play NTSC games or vice versa.
