Here's the completely re-shot video, better car, better driving and also shows you the bridge.

oh and 1080p =)



bonus video is little longer and will take erm hours to upload, so yeah, will be up later.

Depends how many trees you have and how much polygons they each have. In a map like this, yeah, you definitely need lod trees.

Such an outstanding work on this map. I like how it feels on par with GTA IV polies and I like how the texture repetitiveness reduced drastically these days smile.gif
Good work!

(also, one thing: are these road textures from GTA IV or another game? They feel somewhat familiar)

Yes only that area is something like complete, because I added trees and objects keeping in mind everything of that area.
If you see the Sebianoti's videos you can see that that area is much more complete.

I just placed the lighthouse for testing and I will try to add it on a better place!

I see that someone of you are talking about lod trees that are better than fake lod trees (with more draw distance).
I can assume that this is really better, but if there are not documentations I can not try to do them and I'm not able to do them right now, if you are willing to help me with them the map will surely be better!

I think lod trees can be done like this. You copy the original tree lines in the wpl, then you change the hash to the lod version of the tree. I guess your using IV's trees for this.

But are you working on lowering the trees so their not floating?

Good job man ! Really detailed with bushes, i didnt saw rocks, or farms...

Also some trees are floating, try to correct that with bushes...

Can you add path cars

Really good job, 9,9/10 the 0,1 is for the path cars wink.gif when it will be done
