[SCAR Cheatulies]

I'm remaking this topic since our last SCAR thread was locked, and will be making this one to follow the forum guidelines more closely, with permission from gamesguru, who has kindly allowed us another chance. There's not much here, and this initial post will only be to get the essentials in for now, and will be edited later on to include more information. Special thanks to PrinceEzio for the images!

Special Combat and Recon (Or SCAR) is an Xbox 360 clan that primarily plays on Grand Theft Auto 4 and Red Dead Redemption, although plays other games such as Call of Duty, Halo, Battlefield, etc, and plans to play on Grand Theft Auto 5 upon release as another primary game. Currently being lead by the two brothers Justin and Travis, under the gamertag of Cheatulies (Pronounced Cheat-u-lies, or just called Cheat for short), SCAR is a military-based clan that's stylized as following rules, guidelines, ranks, and procedures similiar to real life American military orders. SCAR has been around since Grand Theft Auto 4 was first released, and has a long history leading up from the beginning release of the game up into present day. Members are trained in a variety of areas to be elite, dangerous individuals and work with the primary goal of protecting free modes in mind, through any means necessary, even if it means going as far as possible to keep Liberty City safe. The current "generation" of SCAR is a well trained, obediant force, many of its members having merged from Liberty City Delta Force in order to ensure that SCAR's survival stays in place, for the good of everyone.

SCAR's reasoning for joining the GTAForums are to use the forums as a tool for news, information, and communication, and while it may possibly be late in joining, intend to be an active member of the site. SCAR is currently recruiting, and if you are interested in joining our clan and wish to provide yourself to the best of your abilities, as well as unlock your true potential, then you may use the forum template for an application and submit it here. SCAR is also looking for more alliances as well, and although it has many, we are always interested in gaining allies, so if your organization would like to be an ally with SCAR, you can let us know here. SCAR is a clan that fights fairly in Team Deathmatches when they are challenged to clan battles, and will openly fight in free modes as well, and while some members may have turbo controllers, they do not use them unless those they are fighting use them against them first. More information on Special Combat and Recon will be posted here in this topic in the future.


1. Do not talk about Fight Club
2. Always look out for each other, no matter the game.
3. Always follow your leaders, especially Cheatulies.
4. If you have any questions about the clan, ask your fellow members.
5. When in doubt, turn about.
6. If you gain any confidential information, keep it between SCAR, unless noted otherwise. Failure to do so will result in punishment.
7. Treat all SCAR members with respect.
8. We allow no tolerance for spies within SCAR. If spies are caught, they will be punished.
9. We do not allow those into SCAR who are racist, communist, or are traitors. This means that if a member leaves SCAR to join another clan (unless it is an allied clan) and goes against SCAR, the traitor is marked for death.
10. SCAR must be added to your gamertag within a month of joining. If failed to do so, then the player will not be able to join certain clan events such as clan battles and meetings until SCAR is added to their name. This is a policy made to ensure that no confusion is made to players disputing whether the person is in SCAR, and helps keep away spies.

Divisions
SCAR has three main divisions it uses in order to operate within various areas. Within these divisions are various units that go by different names. The three divisions are Infantry, Recon, and Air Corps.

Infantry: This is the main group of SCAR. Infantry soldiers are taught the basics, and go through various amounts of training. They are typically ground troops, and are able to use the majority of common weapons, which include pistols, shotguns, sub-machine guns, and assault rifles. Along with weapon skills, they are taught how to commandeer and drive vehicles, in order to transport their fellow SCARs. Infantry consists of squadrons, and each squad usually has four to five people, along with a squad commander who is taught to lead his group, although the amount of people can change depending on the amount of members that SCAR has at the moment.

Recon: This is the smallest group of SCAR, but one of the most secretive, and deal in various important matters. Those in Recon focus more on stealth instead of outright power, unlike the Infantry, and do things such as sneak attacks and ambushes, sniping, and spying work and infiltration. In a battle, Recon is usually found the farthest away from battle, but contribute by using long-ranged weapons, mostly sniper rifles, and have deadly accuracy, more so than anyone else. When it comes to driving, Recon is taught more about vehicles than Infantry is, in order to escape from a situation they may be caught in. Recon consists of pairs, which are two people, one of which is a primary shooter and leader who knows all about the situation he's in and guides his partner through the various objectives they are given along with a secondary spotter and backup man who watches their surroundings to make sure they are not caught and provides other assistance while the primary SCAR does much of the work, and this is always the same no matter the amount of members in SCAR.

Air Corps: This is a group that usually contains a medium amount of people, and is usually thought more of as a side group. Air Corps consist of pilots, and are taught all about helicopters, which ranges from simply transporting SCARs and taking them to their destination through harsh situations and tight environments, to shooting many forces that are on the ground when ground forces are pinned down, to then battling against other helicopters in the air. If a SCAR member chooses to sign up for Air Corps, then he will pilot a helicopter any time he is ordered to, although any time he is not in the air he is either in Recon or Infantry, working there when no assistance with a helicopter is needed. Those in Air Corps usually have the best experience with driving vehicles. Like Infantry, Air Corps uses squadrons that usually contain four to five people, in order to protect each other through their various duties, and also has a squad commander, who orders his squadron through various orders in what they are doing in the air.

Since SCAR is a military organization, it does not have "turf", although it does have various bases of operation. Due to SCAR being a part of the United State's military, it is allowed to use the entire city as it sees fit. Any enemy group that is seen within all of Liberty City is considered to be invading SCAR's "turf", and when seen fit are to be shot on site, since the enemy group is often times considered an invading force (unless stated otherwise. This includes Alderney). Because of this, any area lost is only taken from temporarily. SCAR will take back any area taken over in time.


All members of SCAR are trained in a variety of weapons to a maximum skill level. While some SCAR members prefer to use certain weapons, they are able to use all weapons any time they need to. Because of this, those in SCAR usually just use whichever weapon they have with them at the time. For the entire organization, there is no preference of which weapon to use. Certain divisions are typically given different default loadouts.


Part of SCAR's training involves driving vehicles. While some SCAR members prefer to drive certain vehicles, all vehicle types are taught in training. Typically, those in SCAR simply drive whichever vehicle is closest to them. Although for the entire organization, SCAR prefers to use vehicles that are both fast and powerful all while they can handle well. Infantry usually drives four door vehicles in order to transport entire squads while recon drives two door vehicles for better efficiency and air corps pilots helicopters for the majority of the time.


SCAR has a variety of activities. The majority of these activities occur in training, although these activities can then be transferred over to real situations that occur in free modes and (team) deathmatches. After all training has been completed, a member in SCAR has arrived to his full potential and skill level. SCAR often times works together, and use team tactics to get through these activities together. No SCAR goes through any activity alone and always has atleast one partner.


In 2008, crime in Liberty City rose up to a degree so high that records were broken for various city crimes, statistics showing that in the year before (in 2007), murders, car jackings, and organized crime was running rampant and barely under control by the LCPD. Gangs ruled the streets, and the United States government took notice of this. In order to save the city and it's people, and also try to give the city a good name again so that foreign countries would stop bad mouthing the United States since Liberty City is considered to be the perfect example of American civilization, the government took control of Liberty City under martial law, but in secrecy. The mayor was assassinated, and replaced with Mayor Ochoa, a secret FIB agent, and three organizations were made to combat the gangs and completely wipe them out, which were NOOSE, SCAR, and the Liberty City Delta Force. Mayor Ochoa quickly began to make laws that would hopefully slow down gang activity, such as completely banning firearms and other similiar weapons from civilians, but ways were quickly found around this.

NOOSE worked closely with the LCPD, and the organization became iconic. To some people, they were a good force that gave the city a good image. To others, they were a brutal kill squad that wiped out any who were believed to stand in the city's way. SCAR was similiar to this, but was a secretive force that no one knew of, and while NOOSE followed SWAT tactics, SCAR followed military protocol and did secret missions ordered by all branches of federal government. Then there was the Delta Force, who was ment more as a backup unit to SCAR, a "Bad Company" of misfits.

Cheatulies, or as he prefferred to be called "Cheat", was a mercenary, who served in the United States Army before being honorably discharged. In some circles, he was known as an assassin and a mercenary. In 2008, various assassinations on high-profile targets occured in Liberty City, and through various contacts, the leader of Delta Force, Spector, found out that it was Cheat who was the assassin. Cheat was contacted by Spector and offered a job; join Delta Force and help Liberty City and America for a good cause. Cheatulies accepted.

After going through training, and easily completing all of it with high accuracy, Cheat was made a leader of Alpha squad. He met with Bravo and Charlie squads leaders, MasterKungFu (who was an old martial artist with deadly use in weapons and hand-to-hand combat) and WaffleKing (an overweight gluttonous slob, but had a cunning mind). Soon, all three squads were sent out into the city to do missions of their own and recruit any others who would be useful to the Delta Force. Over time, Cheat managed to get capable soldiers for his squad, which soon became an elite squadron in the Delta Force. Unfortunately, Alpha squad broke many of the Delta Force's rules, and almost caused a public disaster on many occassions.

In order to more easily battle gangs, Alpha Squad sometimes worked with gangs themselves to fight their rivals, and once they were defeated, instead of then taking out the gang they worked with, they offered them protection in return for their continuing help, which only made the public outlook on gangs worse, who seemed to be more powerful than before. Sometimes these gangs rose up so high in power that they started becoming homegrown terrorist units, and conspiracy theorists began to uncover the Delta Force itself, having taken notice of what was going on. The terrorist units took over various parts of the city, and Delta Force was told to completely destroy these buildings and blame construction accidents so that no hostage situations could arise. But, at the same time, SCAR was told to do so as well, and on some occassions, the Delta Force would be interrupted either by SCAR doing the objectives for them, or by strange individuals who may have been vigiliantes looking to save the city. Delta Force became known, various footage regularly being shown of them in action on Weazel News.

Videos on YouTube were posted of Alpha Squad openly fighting what appeared to be latino and african american citizens in the streets, using civillian vehicles as cover and firing assault weapons at each other. A mafia under the disguise as a union that Delta Force once helped (who had become a homegrown terrorist unit) took over various construction sites and highjacked various subway trains was exterminated, through use of various explosions and blowing up buildings they were in, or by the trains themselves being stolen by a mysterious Skyhook. Conspiracy theorists put up videos on WhatTheyDon'tWhatYouToKnow.com of a a latino male who was supposedly a part of Delta Force walking on top of moving trains and killing NOOSE members, along with blowing up a yacht and causing other havoc all over the city, although the vigiliante was not a part of neither SCAR nor Delta Force. Sometimes, Delta Force would breach gang hide outs, only to find out that SCAR had already left a trail of dead bodies behind. Whenever Delta Force was not killing convenience store robbers or the local crack head, SCAR was doing their job.

Over time, such incompetence made Spector insane. He turned crazy, unable to accept the humiliation of Alpha Squad. Spector, MasterKungFu, and Waffleking were so angered that in 2009, a court martial was made, which occured in a secret office building in downtown Algonquin in order to arrest Cheatulies and send him to prison. Paranoid, and loyal to their leader, Alpha Squad took up various positions around the office building, ready to attack if a bad judgement was made on Cheatulies. After some hours, the judgement was made, and Cheatulies was banished to Canada.

Since no one likes Canada, this angered Alpha Squad, and they burst into the building, attacking and killing the rest of the Delta Force. Cheatulies got into hand to hand combat with MasterKungFu, who died whenever he attempted to bicycle kick Cheatulies in the face, only to miss and go flying out of the 30th story window. WaffleKing waddled away, but was mowed down by a shotgun that Cheatulies picked up from a dead soldier. While Alpha Squad took care of getting rid of the rest of Delta Force, Cheatulies chased Spector through the office building, until he was cornered. The shock of the attack had turned Spector completely psychotic, and while he blabbered nonsense, Cheatulies shot him in the head, executing him.

Alpha Squad then evacuated the building and went into hiding. The United States government blamed the attack on an Alderney biker gang, whom they assumed was retaliating for having their leader sent to prison, who was ironically killed earlier on during an attack on the prison. Cheatulies was found and contacted, and was offered to join SCAR, since Delta Force was no longer around. All of Alpha Squad joined. A merge was made.

The lead commander of SCAR was Widowmaker, who was also SCAR's most skilled member, having a kill count of over 9000! But, he was also a good friend of Spector's. Upon learning of Alpha Squad joining up SCAR, and knowing that he would have to put up with them and personally train them, Widowmaker immediantly quit, resigning from SCAR. The next day, he was mysteriously killed by an 18 wheeler running him over while he was crossing the street. With no one wanting to lead SCAR, Cheatulies was made the new commander, and since he could rule the secretive unit however he wanted, he did so.

SCAR soon became more public, and although Cheatulies made mistakes in the past, he was still as powerful as he was before he joined Delta Force, and taught all of his members much of what he knew. This in turn made them powerful, so much that legends say that "One SCAR is equal to five men". Over time, Cheatulies became wiser, and started making smarter strategies and tactics, cleaning up the mistakes of the past and the humilation he made. SCAR soon became a force that is both feared by the gangs they bring down, and respected by the citizens of Liberty City, seeing SCAR as their saviors. SCAR's motto: All SCARS no blood.
