I'd much prefer an older protag then again I'm a Final Fantasy fan and that sh*t is filled with whiny teenage demigods that I'm sick of seeing so maybe I'm just bias.

really hope that he aint the main character, i want some1 who's young & bangs for hood not some 50 yr old dad. And just because people wanna see a young character it dont mean there kids, its just means they dont want to be a old man and the protag doesn't exactly look cool like CJ, Tommy, Claude & so on did. His voice is rubbish aswell, give us someone with a better personality not some boring old man who should be in a care home. I hope to god that the Hispanic guys the main character then there will be better clothes & stuff

I said No cuz from the looks of his character hes gunna be a middle aged professional looking guy which most likely means more mafia garbage and a serious story line

I would prefer a younger guy that I can sorta relate too like Luis and CJ, with a younger guy the direction I hope they will go in will make alot more sense then having an older guy play that role, going to the gym, customizing your look, cars and other things made alot more sense for a younger guy CJ cuz hes a young guy trying to improve his image to gain respect but this guy seems like hes already a respectable guy that has it made so he doesnt have to prove anything, plus going into clubs when your a middle aged man seems pretty weird, even having a girlfriend at that age seems weird, with a middle aged man I would think he would be settled down with the wife and kids like he suggests in the first trailer

I started playing at 7, but I can still appreciate a middle aged protag. with wisdom over some young thug who looks 'cool' (and I'm still not clear on what people mean by a 'cool' protag.).

There will be no difference in the protag's physical abilities so I don't see the big deal.
