but the Templars don't have just one nationality or allegiance. they don't belong to any country.
Templars in America wouldn't represent the United States. if they betrayed Connor it would be for Templar reasons. plus I haven't seen any indication that Connor will slaughter Yankees like he's slaughtering Brits.
in every trailer so far, Connor appears to be aiding the revolutionaries.
I love the way Ubisoft is marketing this game, all these trailers and screenshots they've given us, has really got me really excited for this game. They must be planning on spending a lot of money on marketing the game to, I just saw a commercial for AC 3 on TV last night. I don't think i've ever seen a game get a commercial when the release date it over 3 months away lol.
So, yeah I'm really pumped up for this game, the graphics look great, and all the new features they've shown us look very promising. Can't wait for the game to release.

The Boston video, just wow Assassins Creed is seriously becoming my favourite game series ever.
The only small thing i didnt like the sound of was the new health system, i understand that being able to down a potion in the middle of combat might of been slightly "easy mode" But not being able to regenerate health until your out of combat could be a bit tricky if you dont just want to run away all the time.
I mean think back to the original assassins creed, when you had to assinate robert de sable but it turns out to be a decoy if you have that amount of enemies after you, without being able to regenerate health it could become slightly aggravating. And on that occasion there was so many enemies, and guards on the roof it was so hard to outrun them.
Not knocking it before ive tried it of course, so ill just have to see how it goes.
wait a second, they've changed it! Connor is now Half Native American and Half European??? Whilst England is in Europe, before and at E3 he was described as Half Native American and Half British.

The Arkham series employs a similar system, only regenerating your health once you actually finish combat, I don't think running away regains your health (I may be wrong). I've never really had a problem with it there and if it's anywhere near the same in AC III I doubt it'll be a problem here either.
Also that footage isn't new per se, it's been floating around since E3.
The Boston gameplay looks quality, looks like the movement is very fluid especially during combat. No health potions during combat may get tricky in some places of combat but it shouldn't be too bad overall.
Pap, how may of these collectors editions do you buy, where do you keep all these figures and books, surely must be running out of space .
I like the fact that you can't use health potions in the middle of combat. It makes things more challenging.
Me too, i hated how easy the previous Assassin's Creeds were, i'm glad we won't be able to heal connor in the middle of fights this time, might make the game kinda challanging or at least i hope so
Trailer for the Freedom Edition, with a wee bit of new gameplay.
Money well spent.
Looks really awesome. I only played the first AC some time but I got tired of it (too much of the same without decent variation). Never checked another AC ever since though. But this one looks really awesome and actually totally different to the first one (the others were still also mainly urban focussed as far as I know so this must be something really interesting).
Should I have played the AC games in between to be able to follow with the story? And is the story actually that good (from what I've played from the first it was kind of lame... apart from the "history" aspects of the game which I really liked.

The AC series has one of the best storylines in gaming, and yes, to understand it all you'll have to finish the first, second and the two spin offs. Trust me though after AC I they really kicked the gameplay into gear as AC II doesn't have a single mission where you do the same thing, whether your flying into a fortress on a glider, having a carriage battle through the Venetian countryside, or assassinating the pope you're going to have a great time.

saying that Ezio assassinated the Pope isn't really a spoiler
I should add; I only say that because it's obvious and the games are old enough now that it doesn't matter. it was obvious that Ezio was going to kill the Pope even in the very early stages of Assassin's Creed 2.
and it's not like a TV show or a movie. it's not a significant spoiler. the real spoilers have to do with the big picture, like if someone had explained the endings of each game; that would be spoiling. the big picture, the history of the Templars and where the Templar treasures are located, the history of Desmond and Lucy; that's more spoiling than anything.
