Spoiler: really? I'm going to have to give it a look, because that sh*t has been bugging me for months. It never made a lick of sense.

I wonder, without any major structural enviroments or interesting architecture, if III will play more like an MGS game, specifically Snake Eater, where the enviroment becomes a major gameplay component. Perhaps we could climb trees like the vampires in Twilight.

If it's true that Assassins Creed III has a historical American setting then It's quite exciting to me. American history isn't really something that's taught in the UK. That includes the American Revolution. It might surprise Americans to hear that but Honestly in my time up to the end of High School not a single word was uttered by a teacher that related to the British Empire.

Whether that's because there's so much medieval history and the two world wars to get through, or because perhaps it's a source of shame or something I couldn't say. While I was in school in Scotland much time was given to our war with England and and also to both world wars. Perhaps there isn't time to go into the Empire.

Anyway my point is that as a result of it not being taught to me in school, American history and the American Revolution is fascinating to me. I'd love for a game to be set in that time. I've grown bored with the Assassins Creed II series but this has definately got my attention.

I'm not sure how the gameplay would work. Assassins Creed surely requires tall buildings. Something, if I'm not mistaken, not common in early USA.

After Brotherhood I really lost my interest... but this - this look's f*cking amazing. If the game has been in production as long as Ubi. say it has been... there's no doubt it my mind that this game is going to be a gem in the series.

A lot of people are b*tching because its in the American revolution but i think thats f*cking awesome. I always wanted to play a game realistically set during this time period and now i think its finally come true. That be awesome hoping the rooftops of old new york city and maybe assassinating hessians during the battle of trenton. I think UBISOFT is going to make this game a lot different in a good way from the Assassin's Creed 2 series. I agree the Assassins' Creed 2 story was getting a bit old but i still fairly enjoyed playing each game. AC2 is my favorite so far, but if this turns out good then it could top it.

As for the size of cities in it. They could have several big cities. Philadelphia, New York, Boston, all pivotal parts of the revolution.

EDIT: Also just noticed the tomahawk's head looks like the Assassin's seal.
