The reveal in OldBoy on first watch is truly mind-blowing and I am not one to throw such hyperboles around.
I'm not big on Asian movies, but I might give that one a watch, you made me curious.
Its amazing, one of the most unique and interesting films I have ever seen. I have watched it enough times now that I know whats being said with no subtitles (check me)
Another scene I love from a more recent time is Drive. The scene where he walks up to the restaurant with the mask on.
Beautifully shot with an perfect song accompanying it.

The Russian Roulette scene from The deer Hunter is one of my favourite scenes, Deniro's acting in particular. Christopher Walken played his part extremely well in it too, the two had contrasting attitudes toward the situarion they were in which gives more than 1 aspect to look at the scene in.

Two movie scenes that, I feel, are very badass and exciting to watch. The first one, count it 11 times, is from Goodfellas and the second one, "Your move f*cker! Go!", is from Natural Born Killers.

Having just seen it, I think the penultimate scene of The Dark Knight Rises where Batman dies has just jumped to the top of my list. Christopher Nolan really paid off all the small threads he laid down throughout Batman Begins and The Dark Knight which culminated in an emotionally exhilarating scene that serves as a reminder of what Batman stood for that resonates throughout the real world today. Bravo.

Off the top of my head. Goldfinger. One of my favorite films, and a scene with a classic line. "No, Mr. Bond I expect you to die." Great stuff here, lots of tension. Also, a major turning point in the film. A lot gets revealed, both story wise, and character wise. The laser, representing high-tech, is also aiming at Bond's greatest asset, his erm manhood. It ends with Bond going from a bad situation to worse. Great film, check it out if you haven't already. Plenty of great scenes, but this one is the best!

This film scene has got to be way up there for me, the execution, the acting, the story and the laughs is amazing. It's a f*cked up comedic scene with violence.

The entire beginning of SCREAM. Where Casey Becker (Drew Barrymore) is taunted and "tested" on her horror movie knowledge. I always think "Damn! What a way to start a movie!" Such a classic scene from a classic movie! Nobody knew the ride they were in for!

brilliant opening for a movie!!
mine would have to be the final scene in Fight Club, just after the narrator has killed Tyler Durden, he holds Marla's hand and says something to her as the buildings all get demolished. god i love that movie!
