The GPU usage is shifting between 1 and 70 but i don't want to overclock my processor cause I don't want it to get damaged and I don't think it's nessesary cause my processor should handle GTA IV without problem. Mabye there is an option for enabling more GPU usage?
Here are some specs of the motherboard: Manufacturer: ECS Model: MCP61M-M3 7.0 Chipset: Nvidia MCP61 Southbridge: -||- LPCIO: Fintek F71862FG |
Actually, much more powerful CPUs than yours have had trouble running the game.
There is no way to increase GPU usage without either overclocking your CPU or getting a faster CPU.
Its also impossible to damage modern CPUs by overclocking as long as you don't jack up the voltage to insane levels. |
So my AMD Athlon II x4 3.10 Ghz can't get damaged if it's not getting exposed for too much voltage? Won't it's life be short-lived? | Nope. If you don't jack up the voltage to insane levels, your CPU will not be damaged in any way. Its lifetime won't be shortened either.

Should i overclock the prosessor or the graphics card processor? I discovered that msi afterburner was about the graphics card, not the processor and I thought you ment the processor. Sorry, I don't have much teknology knowledge about computers.
