I have a Huawei smartphone and dowloaded the game but when I touch the icon the game simply won't launch. Anyone else having trouble getting it to start? Is there something you have to do to get it going or does it simply not work on some phones?

I can relate to this. Got V1.0 and downloaded the files. The game worked but pretty slowly. After that, I downloaded 1.1 and 1.2 and neither will launch. HTC Wildfire S

Ccrogers you are a fool, high end tablets can RUN it, and so can higher end phones, and they can run it at higher settings. I can run it at Max on my sgs2 and it does the same on my mates ipad 2.

They even hired an independant company with more experience to do it so it was done right. Just because you have a sh*t phone and cant run it, that most certainly does not make the game sh*t.

Sorry, like it or not, it's a sh*t port. The on-foot shooting controls especially. GTAIII is a top game but I won't allow the fascists here to shout down anyone with anything but glowing praise for the game. They still couldn't perfect on foot controls on a TEN YEAR old game. That's just sad.

Really? How would you optimize this game for a touch-oriented system. That's right, you couldn't. Because the game was never optimized for it and they did a fantastic job on it nonetheless.
