This is basically just like gogether's post, except it's about what songs you think are some of the best ever. Like beautiful ones, well-performed ones, etc. I used the search function and didn't get any results for a topic like this. If there is one, and I mistook myself, please lock this.

Anyway, this is my opinion on one of the most beautiful songs ever.

I also can't get this song out of my head, but it might not be the greatest ever to YOU. bored.gif

What's your favorite?

Heh, quite hilarious to see how these people also put their favorite song in the Rate the song topic tounge.gif

The problem with naming the Best Song is that I have another Best Song ever each week, at least that's my problem.

Is one of my favorites.

I posted this song in the Rate The Song Above You topic, but I'm posting it her too. The song has amazing melody. The band is so freaking talented.

This is a really good acoustic version of a metalcore/post hardcore song with only the clean bits

I'm going through a rise records stage smile.gif

This is another beautiful song, another cover of a metalcore song.

Some great songs above icon14.gif

Every now and again I come across songs that just blow me away. Ashtar Command's "Deadman's Gun" performed live with strings is just phenomenal. The list is endless. I heard this song a while ago and though I don't normally like Mary J. Blige's stuff, this performance just impressed the hell out of me. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do biggrin.gif

Free Bird.
Every time I hear that sweet song, it evokes emotions in me I didn't know I had. Each listen borders on a spiritual experience like no other; it's as if it was sent down to Earth by Angels soley to bring our ears to orgasm. Truly a gift from God, the song's presence is infact proof there is a God - and he loves each and everyone of us.

Aqualung by Jethro Tull is, in my opinion, the most melodic and best instrumental songs I have ever heard in my lifetime.

"Echoes" by Pink Floyd, from the album "Meddle":

Well, either that, or "Nobody Home" from "The Wall":
