Seriously, entering the whole quote coding is tedious when dealing with editing, and the only way to get it otherwise is to make another post then hit edit on that post so you can copy the quote into your first post then somehow delete your double post. I mean, damn! Just add a small quote icon to the recent posts thing that appears under the advanced reply box. That would be a life saver for people wanting to add more quotes to their post.

Adding new features like that would be a logistical nightmare. As unstable as the boards are, the changes would have to apply to every skin too, and that just isn't feasible. Maybe V2 will ease your quoting pain.

Copy the post you want to quote, hit the quote button, paste it, hit OK. It's really not all that hard. Even multi-quoting with user names/times is easy without software if you know how to do it.

What do you mean when you say the boards are unstable? Mods keep saying this but just how is it? Websites should not be unstable unless its down to very poor coding?

You have no idea how heavily this forum has been modified over the years. Multiple hacks have been applied to make the forum what it is today. I believe the problem is that these hacks/improvements were applied one over the other which has led to instability when it comes to certain features and it's near impossible to fix them now without messing something up. Don't quote me on this but I remember reading something like this a couple of years ago.
