So I got my new baby today, 2002 Pontiac Bonneville, V6, 132k miles. It's a machine! I'm super excited with it, but I have a few questions. First, is it worth the time and money to get the rear wheel well (left side) fixed? It's rusty and has paint bubbles, but it's not overly bad. Secondly, is it legal to stick a "Movie" license plate in the front of the car? I have two, one from Ghostbusters, one Back to the Future. I know you can have just one plate, but is a fake one legal?

I didn't mean off-white as in a bone color, I meant more like an extremely pale blue or green that appears to be white or a really light metallic white. Basically what I meant was, if you want white, get a nice shade, not just the cheapest or first one you see. Anything but that commercial truck/appliance white. One of the pearl whites, or even a hi-gloss with a bit of gold metal-flake in the paint. These are the only two styles of white that I'd ever own a car in. As a personal view, I'd probably have it in a nice metallic mid-blue, something like BMW Mystic/Topaz blue- A very flattering colour for cars with few kinks and external features. White serves to highlight every tiny blemish, colours like this hide them well and are much "better", in my view, than black.

| QUOTE (Cursed @ Wednesday, Jan 4 2012, 02:51) | | Looks like those front headlight lenses could do with a good cleaning. You'd never see a young driver in anything like that over here in the UK. | I already gave em the cleaning, polish, and curing kit from Auto Zone, they are clearer then my own damn windows now As for paint color, my goal is to basically get a nice semi-gloss White with either Orange pin striping or an old school drivers side stripe up and over the body. That metallic blue would look sexy on my Bonnie, but it wouldn't flow with the Seventh Level of Hell Red that is my interior lighting. I also hate to say it, but an Orange pin stripe would look good with an Orange underglow kit And sadly it aint a DeLorean, but that's why I want my OUTATIME plate on the front. Livin the dream
