Sorry I haven't posted here for such a long time, I just haven't had the time to investigate recently. But I'm back now with an investigation report. Myth name: "Haunted Casino". Investigators: AlexGTAGamer, Niko and two of Dwayne's boys. What happened: *Headphones were used* As usual being too lazy to drive I took a taxi over to the casino in Alderney. I arrived slightly earlier than usual so I wondered around the casino grounds and even met an old man wearing a business suit drinking a cup of Bean Machine coffee on a bench by the entrance to the building. The time eventually hit 21:00 and so I gave Dwayne a call to send over my myth investigators. First thing I did was give a homeless man some money who was standing by the entrance to the building. I noticed two more homeless men walk inside the building so I followed after them. Inside more homeless asked for money so I was kind and gave them a few dollars. Homeless people aside we made our way to the back of the casino and to the staircase that leads to the roof. We had just gotten to the roof and I had a quick glimpse around. Seeing nothing I then went back inside where another homeless approached me. But something wasn't right, Dwayne's boys were gone. I searched all around the building but I couldn't find them. They were only with me for a few minutes but as soon as I went to the roof they disappeared. This scared me a little so when it came midnight I fired by pistol inside the casino to scare the homeless away, now the place was empty. Heck I even had a great urge to throw a grenade inside to stir up trouble, but nothing happened. Time ticked by and I was getting greatly bored going backwards and forwards inside looking for anything out of the ordinary, and then I heard it, a constant dripping sound. At first I thought nothing of it but as I searched in the back I noticed it getting more and more louder. I passed it off as being water dripping, but it wasn't raining. This sound soon got to me so I ran to the front and was startled when a new group of homeless men appeared. I shoved past them and ran outside where I checked around the grounds. I passed a lot of the time during the investigation jumping from the scaffolding inside the casino but this eventually got boring too. The time reached 6:00 and I headed out of the building, bored and disappointed that I didn't find anything. Strange things that happened/were heard: Dwayne's boys disappearing, and a constant dripping noise that got louder - probably just an unseen pipe somewhere. (This is at the back of the casino by the staircase, not the main pipe in the front section.) Myth Confirmed/Plausible/Busted: On acount that I saw no ghostly figure or heard any screams that other investigators said they heard/saw, in my opinion: Myth Busted. Myth - Beechwood Growler - Follow up investigation. Investigators - Niko Bellic, Patrick McCreary, Gordon Ssssargent, Michael 'Patron saint of Marks & Sparks' Keane and two of Dwaynes' 'friends'. +--------+ To: N Bellic From: L Lopez CC: Beechwood Growler Further to previous correspondance, no evidence of Growler, however, discovery of crazy pushchair warrants further investigation, advise to approach with extreme caution! PS. do you know where I can get some meds for a, er, depressed housewife. Sincere L L +--------+ There was other buisness to be taken care of but this needed sorting, The tale of the crazy pushchair had caused a stir in the criminal underworld, criminal fraternity, criminal underworld, whatever. We assembled en masse at the shoreline in Beechwood City. I gave orders, 'don't do any weird sh*t', thought it was a good plan. The man on the far right was offering 'White Teas', I tried to calm him mentioning I like my tea like I like my coffee, he just looked at me weird. I engaged with the pushchair and sure enough it started spinning out before flying off a rock into nothingness. Having had enough I decided to go for a swimm before realising how boring swimming was, again, Dwayne's Friends' were not playing, I think they could see the futility of it all. Decided to give up on the Growler/Pushchair and headed to the ammusement park to explore more tales of the unexpected... It didn't go too well. Dwaynes' 'friends' had had enough and went off home leaving just the four of us, no problem until I jumped a fence and realised that whilst Patrick, Gordon and Michael could operate a firearm they had no concept of jumping over a fence Evidence - Puschair is still crazy.

I've been myth hunting for awhile now, so here goes nothing.
Location: Acter, Alderney, Alderney State Time: 12:00
Investigators: Chris, member of Paranormal Gaming
I arrived at Acter around the early mornings of Liberty City. Driving around, investigating the exterior. When I was standing out the car, looking at the demolished building. I was staring into a window, in which I saw a figure staring out the window. When the sun came out, my gun did too. I entered the building via the underground sewer.
When I was finally inside. The feeling of someone watching me was definetly felt. Aiming my gun at every inch of the building, nothing has appeared... yet. As I was about to give up and bust the myth, a strange phenominon occured. Sounds of footsteps were echoed throughout the building, screams were heard when I fired a shot, and cold breaths were blown form my mouth.
I left the building, feeling like there's still something that needs to be done. Though the Sprunk Ghost was never found. There's defintley something there.
History:
During my research of the building, I came across this. The Sprunk Factory in Acter, Alderney was built back in the early 40's. Workers, from 12 to 43 worked each floor, around dangerous machines. In 1956, a man called, Greg Miller, was working on the top floor, fixing the packaging machine. As he was, his hand got stuck. In an attempt to free it, he pulled himself to hard and fell out the window, falling to his death. The factory was shut down in December, 13, 1956. During the closing. The founder of the factory decided to give his final goodbyes to the building.
As he was leaving, a figure appeared right before his eyes. Looking almost similar to Greg.

| QUOTE (Cyper @ Monday, Feb 13 2012, 05:19) | Its not about whenever it true or not. Its about the hunt. Here is - by definition - a few more myths
Myth:
Man in window
Description
If you go to the run down house, close to the old casino (its the house where the sultan xs is) go to the front windows. At night, you may see a shadow that walks past the window. This happened for me at 23:56 at Friday. It was a clear night.
Evidence
No evidence atm. I saw this shadow while I was passing by to get the sultan.
Myth:
Painful scream
Description
One time when I was in the house where you do the drugdeal I could hear some weird screams. It sounds like someone is being tortured. I could also see blood drip down on the floor.
Evidence:
I have recorded it. Unfortunately it dissapeared from my memory stick when i was about to upload it.
I have also heard that you must stand still for roughly 90 minutes in the sprunk factory in order to get a 30% chance to encounter a ghost. The camera will change after you've stood still for about 2 minutes without pressing any button at all. Not even start. Then you may hear a scream and niko dies. Someone should try this. |
I know I am late, but, the last one, is that in game minutes or actual time? If you get back to me on that and give me the location (haven't played storymode in a while) I'd love to investigate it.

Here is something that might give you a chill.
Firefly Island Amusement Park
The investigation started at 8:00 pm GTA time near the rollercoasters. I roamed around the area until 10:00 pm hearing or seeing nothing out of the ordinary. Next I went on the rollercoasters on foot to see that triggers anything until 11:30 pm but nothing happened. Finally I go to the Golf Course where something strange occurred right when I step foot on the course.
The area did have some pedestrians walking around, but all of a sudden the pedestrians disappeared and the area was completely silenced. It remained like that for 3 hours in GTA time then a sudden footstep was heard behind me followed by a scream from a female. As more footsteps progressed towards me, so were unusual sounds like a growl, more screams and believe it or not, a man talking in a very deep voice.
I couldn't figure out what the voice was saying because it only spoke for a minute in real time. I walked to the center of the course and managed to anger some kind of negative energy. Why did I think I angered a negative energy, where I was walking, there was nothing on the ground and something made me fall losing health. It was obvious something was going on.
As time flew by, there was one last thing. It was 5:00 am in GTA time and the Sun was rising, there was a homeless man just standing doing no actions or reactions to anything. He was standing where I was standing and then disappeared when I looked back for a sec then looked back to where he was.
I left the area and went to my Bohan safehouse the save my game and advance 6 hours. I drove around Liberty City doing nothing the whole day, then when I drove past Firefly Island, the homeless man from the previous night was back and standing at the same place. If you ask me, what ever is going on in that park is likely that someone is in there keeping others away.
Myth is plausible. There wasn't any evidence, just weird activity although with more people, we could find a few stuff that could trigger all of this nonsense.
Next location: Back to the Half-sunken ship.

I'm back from my busy days away! Did you miss me? I know I missed me. Anyways I have a new investigation report for you guys and will be having more soon!
Name of Myth: Ratman
Report Description: I had some free time on my hands so I decided to start doing some myth investigations online, while I wasn't tending to my other work. My associates DeTarius, SwagModz, and Sacplaya all came with me on this investigation. We started off in North Algoquin, the sun was setting and my friends wanted to use motorcycles to explore the subway, I insisted they didnt in case of any tainted evidence we might get while on motorcycles. So we started to traverse the tunnel systems, making our way through the network making sure that we didn't miss a thing. We eventually stumbled into the massive underground part of the subway system (you know, where many subway rails cross) at that point we decided to pair up and search the tunnels in groups, we spent a good couple of in game hours searching the rest of the tunnel system in pairs, but as the morning drew closer we decided to call an end to the investigation, ending up empty handed, but we had fun anyways. I will have to come back for a full day investigation.
Evidence: Unfortunately none.
The MIT will be getting updating regularly again and I would like to give a thanks to the people who helped me with the investigation. --- CrowBarZ

Myth: Haunted Amusement Park (Team of two: Me and Dr-Mayhem111)
Description: We jumped on our motorcycles over by the abandoned casino. Sad to say we got to Firefly Island with only one motorcycle. It was day-time-almost-night-time, and we started our investigation. It was in the morning when we began to hear music on the golf course, first we heard Nightmare on Elm Street themed music, then it played again this time a Christmas song. If you may wonder if it was an ice-cream truck we checked the area, there wasn't none around each time. After hearing the music several times we found some strange ghost plant... We then moved onto the roller coaster where we heard footsteps. I heard several thuds, and finally I was shocked when I heard a growl. It sounded sorta like a lion.. but louder. When we footsteps again during the night time by the rides were we sad to see it was an old lady just walking. After one of the locals picked a fight we knocked him out, then we wrapped up our investigation at six in the morning
Evidence: Music, several thuds, (Dr-Mayhem said he heard a yell), A growl, some footsteps.
Notes: I really liked this investigation. Being it was my first I was surprised to find so much
