Alright, I have investigated the Sprunk factory ghost myth.
I went there and I entered through the basement. I noticed some homeless people outside the building.
I went inside and went from floor to floor, looking for anything strange. I fired my combat pistol, and I hear a guy say "Ok, Let's bounce!" I also saw these words as subtitles. I got up to the roof and shot off my weapon, this time a shotgun. Again, more words. I decided to go leave. Just as I went down the stairs, a guy shot at me with a pistol, so I shot him in the face to make sure he was dead. I saw he was a security guard from the local strip club across the street.
Also, as I went up the stairs, I heard a loud bang as I touched the back of a couch.

I would suggest you use the format shown in the first post. Along with anything else you need to know about this thread. It makes it a lot easier to enter investigations into the Log, and it helps people read your report better. This post has been edited by CrowBarZ on Wednesday, Aug 1 2012, 03:43

Myth: LC Whale Description: I woke up early, heading to the docks then arriving at five AM. I drove around, stopping at several locations far out in Liberty. Each time I found nothing, until I heard a thud under my boat, it was pretty heavy too. Whatever had hit it was nowhere to be seen sadly. After repeating the stop and look process I found nothing, seeing it was already six the next morning I drove home. Evidence: A heavy thud heard under the boat.

I myself have been unable to do anymore reports lately, but will be getting back into them within the next couple of days. ---- CrowBarZ

Hello, I am not sure if this thread is now dead, or you have all been silenced mysteriously. I will investigate every myth on this thread, with and without help. I care not if GTA V is set to be released soon. No game is complete without its secrets being found and told. May karma smile upon us all.
After investigating all of these myths. I have found only two to be plausible. The rest can be easily explained.
Ratman: One of two only plausible myths out of them all.
Investigation: A friend and I went to the underground in search of the infamous "ratman." We easily debunked anything that has to do with sounds. Walking up to a cardboard box that is on a steel pillar will cause a "ding" sound. There was a growl that we heard that we could not figure out. We saw 4 homeless men and approached them. We were greeted with harsh words from the 1st one. "f*ck you, plant eaters" & "Reptillians are taking over the city." We walked off in search of anything else that would be out of place. Aside from the cars being there, we saw nothing else out of place. However, the homeless man has vanished and down the way we saw three others. They quickly became hostile and we put them down. As we exited through the stairway from which we came, my partner noticed an orange substance on the floor. There are no pipes on the ceiling above. Another odd thing, the shadow on the wall going down, you see your shadow...and another pair of hands going to strangle you. There was no explination for this either.
Conclusion:It seems there is something in the subway, something that is turning homeless men into killers and savages.
L.C Whale
Investigation: There was no use in investigating this. The L.C whale is, in fact, the island inside the pond. From any angle above, it is an alien or a whale.
Conclusion: The L.C whale is real. Just not what you'd like to think
Old Hospital
Investigation: My friend and I entered the Old Hospital only to be greeted by homeless men. We investigated thoroughly and debunked the shadow. The trees that surround the hospital cast shadows from the sun being behind them. We stayed until night time and still saw nothing, nor heard anything odd.
Conclusion: It's not haunted, it's just creepy and your mind plays tricks on you.
Spunk Factory
Investigation: we entered through the basement, nothing odd there. The first floor was nothing unusual either. Then we went to the couch to debunk the sound. It can be explained. Don't push it, pushing it created a sound because of the wood on it falling. We investigated everything else. The only oddity we came about was the wall which glows green. We could not explain that.
Conclusion: Like the Old Hospital, it is creepy and your mind plays tricks. The green wall is odd, but we saw nothing to suggest it is paranormal.
Old Casino
Investigation: This time I had another friend with me, MikeMyth. We went to the Old Casino. While we were there we saw running water and heard a few creaks. We stayed there for about 5 minutes. Me, thinking it was another creepy mind playing place, was about to leave. Suddenly, MikeMyth yelled for me to come. I was amazed with what I had seen. The white light myth was true. Never before have I seen anything like it on GTA. Also, while attempting to grab onto some stairs, I was suddenly pushed off by an unknown force.
Conclusion: This place is creepy, yet it seems to have some things going on. Anybody looking for any amazement best come here to explore.

Myth: Ratman
Investigation:(I played in TBoGT) I was investigating the Ratman myth like I always do and today I finally found a strange thing. anyway, I took the train down to easton station and I walked through the subway down to the service central or whatever it is and then I took a fast look over there and I was going to walk further down in the subway tunnel but I rotated the camera and then I saw a man, he was grey, like he had no textures but when I walked to him, I saw that he was just a hobo, he had a red shirt, grey hair and beard. But now my question is what was he doing down there.
My theory is that he had walked from subway station, because I saw that man in the station and he came from that direction. But why did he walk in the subway tunnels?

| Myth | Explained |
|---|
| Ratman | Merely a less common British slang term for "Hobo" or a homeless man. Additionally this was merely inspired by fans of creepypasta using Ratman from Portal as a reference. | | L.C. Whale | This is nothing more than a physics error with the oceans waves. | | Haunted Sprunk Factory | The screaming heard when firing a weapon, are homeless men, constructor workers near by and civilians. The loud bangs are merely the home people running a knocking various items scattered throughout he factory. | | Haunted Hospital | Same as the above. | | Haunted Casino | Same as the above. | | Happiness Island "Growler" | Purely fan made creepy pasta, Happiness Island shares that same ambiance sound file as Dukes and Broker, meaning not only to do hear the ground based air events, 'the growling' you'll also hear the faint ringing of an ice cream truck. | | Creature in Westdyke woods | Nothing more than fan made creepypasta and/or rumors. | | Haunted Museum | One of the most bugged interiors, NPC's often spawn invisible hence doors opening 'themselves', | | Haunted Amusement Park | Pure ambiance files, you'll hear un-oiled metal creaking, and construction bangs. | | Beachwood City "Growler" | Purely ambiance files, it's a mistaken air vent location. | | Half-Sunken Ships | NPC's and ambiance files, nothing more. |
