Damn, Chris Bosh shooting threes after an injury, Bron being clutch. Is this a fake game?

This is will be a great series if Bosh continues to play at an extremely high level or if Wade goes back to being Wade instead of being some washed-up, overpaid bum. Of course, that will be tough for Wade since Sefolosha is a much better defender than anyone he faced against Celtics.

If neither of them play well, sayonara Miami.

A dream Finals match-up for me. OKC Thunder being my hometown team vs Miami Heat who contains my favorite player in LeBron James. This series will go 7 games, David Stern and his goons will milk this for what its all worth. I will say, the one time Miami came to town this year (which I attended) they played like absolute garbage.

We finally have a championship series in which the opposing stars play the same position - James vs Durant. Should be fun. It will be a long series, especially if Bosh does his thing. OKC in 7.

It must suck for the fans in Seattle watching this.

I guess you're a fan of Bulls from your previous posts.. And yet, you're rooting for the OTHER conference team.. Or you're just a bandwagoner.. No offense..

My favorite team all in all are the Chicago Bulls. There's always two sides in a story and in this case it's two conferences. I have a right to cheer for the Thunder. I'm not a bandwagon fan. I actually despise them ever since they blew the Bulls out in March.

I'm cheering for the the Thunder because A.) Kevin Durant deserves some recognition and B.) They fought through some of the top teams in the NBA. Seems to me you're only throwing a hissy fit because I'm not cheering for the Heat. I'm a BULLS fan, I hate the Heat.

And what do you mean cheering for the other conference? I picked two teams, one from both conferences. Bulls and Spurs.

The Thunder aren't my hometown team. I'm only rooting for them in this series. I'm from Florida myself(Jacksonville) and there's no team in that city. I like the Bulls because of their whole demeanor they bring to the court and I like how Rose ressurrected the franchise.

Ahhhh, yeah I mistook Doom's post for your post lol. Sorry about that. tounge.gif

And I'm pretty happy about the Thunder winning Game 1. Wade continued to play like a bum so I'll blame the Heat's loss on him along with their lack of interior defense. It seemed like OKC scored so many points in the paint going down the stretch.

Horrible officiating in Finals Game 2. There was that bull sh*t goaltending call in the second quarter, no-call against Durant in the final seconds, and that call on Fisher when he was defending a driving Wade and didn't touch him at all.

I still think Miami played the better overall game, but that doesn't matter. Bottom line is, there's a good chance that the Thunder win this game with better officiating.

I have to agree, not calling the foul in the final seconds which could've tied up the game was just terrible. Heat now has the possibility to finish it up in Florida, however I think the whole series is a setup by the league so it would stretch down to seven games.

Yup, as I said, Stern is going to milk this. He's getting bookoo money out of this series. He has the big-town market vs. small town market, superstars vs. superstars.

This really isn't a great "match-up" but two great teams playing each other. When we have Perkins out there when Heat have a smaller and faster lineup, we tend to let shooters like Battier, Miller and Bosh with nice high percentage shots. Honestly, we should be down 2-0 but with the Heat being so inconsistent in the 4th quarter it's easy for the Thunder to make a run and make it look closer than it seemed or just winning it... something Miami isn't good at themselves. I think if the Heat have trouble in the 1st half with this Thunder in this series, it'll be a ugly game.

I think Bulls and Thunder would've been a better match-up. Bulls specialize on defense, they have a deep bench just like Thunder, and they both have great PGs. Bulls' popularity is rising and so was Thunder's...that would make great ratings(David Stern personality)

I want David Stern to f*cking retire.

I know you guys are confident that the game is rigged by way of officiating.

but I honestly don't believe that there's enough evidence to really support that. right now it's little more than circumstantial speculation.
if anything, the amount of fouls that are called (or not called) just goes to show how poor the rules of basketball are in general; they're way too subjective.

it's not really fair on the officials to begin with.
to me it seems like they are doing their best. when I find myself disagreeing with a call, it's not based on which team it was against, it's based on the fact that I usually don't see where the foul occurred.

a big part of the problem is simply over-officiating.
they need to step back during the post season (like other sports referee's do) and let the men play tough.
