I think it'll be in the middle of January. On Christmas Day or New Years Eve we'll get another countdown on the site saying TRAILER #2 and then the date.

I guess we are getting some kind of MP3 video around the end of Dec or beginning of January. Than after that, February GTA V and new info in GameInformer. Than no info for as long as MP3 is not released and couple weeks after. Than its GTAV time.

I am sure we will have some info whether in the form of a trailer or not by early January. However, I wouldn't be surprised if R* took advantage of making some sort of gesture to its fans and potential market around Xmas- New Years.

Interesting theory, I'm also going with mid- january. Rockstar can't ignore the fact that 85% of the guys on their Facebook page are talking about GTA V on Max Payne 3 news.

well with GTA4 the trailers came out in this order

trailer 1 - march 30th 2007
trailer 2 - june 28th 2007
trailer 3 - December 2007

character trailers and in game adverts came out between feb 8th 2008 andmarch 7th 2008


and the final real trailer came out march 28th


So if R* follow the same formula we will be seeing the 2nd trailer at the the end of january 2012


and if GTA5 does not get delayed we will see the trailers faster then we did with GTA4

3RD GTA5 trailer - april 28th

last trailer - june - 28th

release july 27th

This is, in my opinion is how it's going to happen.

The ANNOUNCEMENT teaser was last month. Max Payne is currently being promoted and not at any time will Rockstar crossover promotion. I think we'll see a couple weeks of no Max Payne news or news of little significance around the time of late January. At that time I think Rockstar will drop some more information, and hopefully screenshots. This gives only another month from February for some more Max Payne news before its released in March. After that, late March is when we will see another trailer, and main promotion of the game will start, ready for the typical October release of GTA.

No it isn't, they have a release date and marketing plan. They didn't release the teaser on accident.

Theres like 2 months left until Max Payne comes out, we've only seen the teaser for GTA V a month back.
