I was grinding by blowing up tanks to get the max cash - 99,999,999 - when suddenly a new digit appears - 100,000,000.

Is there a maximum, or does it just continually increase? Any cheats besides IFIWEREARICHMAN to get loads of dollars?

I am pretty sure that Grand Theft Auto III is the same as other GTA III-era games, in that the maximum amount of cash you can obtain is $999,999,999 (I could be wrong though) - your money cannot go any higher then this in the game.

As for cheats, there is only one cheat code that gives you money. This is "IFIWEREARICHMAN" on the PC version and " " on the Playstation 2 version of the game - I guess you probably already knew this though.

Thanks, DTUman. I'll probably just use a trainer and grind with the cheat. Anyone get all the way to $999 million? How'd you do it?

I think that's because my money bringed up very fast (used a trainer). Like the GTA Vice City's Crazy Cone bug. I really don't know.
I will continue to bring up my money to see if it stops at $9.999.999.999.
