I don't see how us knowing who voices the protagonist will give us more information on the game itself though.

To me, the balcony guy looks most like Ned Luke, but sounds more like Robert Patrick. Could it be possible they used Ned for motion capture, but the voice acting didn't work out? It doesn't really make sense though and his 'behaviour' on Twitter and not just denying it like people have said makes it look even more likely to be him. Michael Hollick hardly looked like Niko and it wasn't even his real accent afterall.

If you look closely at CG characters designed for actors to perform through ImageMetrics, the character face usually looks like it would fit onto the actor's real face, like a custom-made mask or prosthetic makeup. The distances between eyes, nose, and mouth usually match. This is so the motion capture animation looks natural and not distorted. Features that just hang on the face like nose, cheeks, chin, ears, can be redesigned to look like anything without damaging the motion capture performance. Or, the character can look just like the actor. We see examples of both choices in GTA IV. Niko is heavily "designed" but Dwayne looks exactly like his actor. CJ actually does look a lot like Young Maylay because Young Maylay was what they were looking for with that character. The most likely explanation for the GTA V character looking exactly like Ned Luke is that Ned Luke is performing all voice and motion capture for the character (except stunts).

On twitter, Ned Luke blocked his account, and he have 10 followers... And that phrase: "I've got the best gig in the world...my kid's travel baseball coach...oh, and the
actor part is pretty cool too"(i was thinking here... Why not doing a Main Character thread ?). Why 10 followers ? Maybe he is being trained by young maylay, and other actors... He should tell to the ten followers that he is really working on GTA V. About Rob Patrick, he looks like the white guy on the trailer, his nose is the same, his eyes... And the voice...

Doesn't sound like the voice in the trailer. The voice in the trailer has Hispanic Vibe/Accent to it.

I was thinking if we're talking more look alike then the actor's actual voice, it would appear so, he could be hired to do motion capture, could do that in the USA, for Rockstar, as well as the voices

I'm sorry, but what does a Hispanic person sound like? Plenty of Hispanic people sound whiter than me, and plenty of white guys have Hispanic undertones to their voices.

However, the voice in the trailer doesn't sound Hispanic to me at all...and I live in California...
