Ali is one of my sports heroes, but I always respected Joe Frazier. The 'Thrilla in Manila' was the greatest fight I've ever seen in my lifetime.

RIP Smoke

It's time for a rest Frazier, you don't need to fight anymore.

Rest in peace.

Calling 'Smokin' Joe Frazier a legend is an understatement; he was an ambassador for the sport, a true warrior. His trilogy of fights with Ali are legendary, but in the meantime he also managed to still two of the greatest Heavyweights of the period in George Foreman and Joe Bugner. It is a sad day for Boxing to see such a monumental figure pass away. RIP 'Smokin' Joe!

Heard the new this moring. RIP.

Joe seemed like a good guy and I think you could see him jogging around his local city before he got sick. If you haven't seen Thrilla In Manilla, go watch it. It's not as good as When We Were Kings but it's better than a lot of docs out there.

This is really sad news, RIP Joe. sad.gif You'll be missed.

But maybe it was better for him. He's now in a better place. But still, you'll be missed. RIP.
