The vehicles we know about so far, from the official information as of August 24th, 2012. [W.I.P.]

I know there is already a vehicle discussion, but this topic is aimed at being a database of the vehicles in the trailer, complete with pictures and shtuff It will be updated every time there is new info, up to the release.


Cars

Vehicle: Super GT?

This convertible sports car, appearing to bear the Dewbauchee badging (just like the Super GT from GTA IV) has a retractable convertible top, as can be seen here. The car seems to take design cues from the Aston Martin Vantage and the Ferrari California. More Pictures: 1 2 3 4 5

Vehicle: Sentinel?

This car, sporting the Ubermacht badge, is a convertible coupe that resembles a BMW 3-Series convertible, could be a newer version of the Sentinel. More Pictures: 1 2

Vehicle: Cheetah

This 2-door supercar takes some styling cues from the Koenigsegg Agera R; it's not "Cheeta", the H is covered up by the glare.

Vehicle: Audi R8 Clone

This 2-door roadster is an almost exact Audi R8 clone.

Vehicle: Cognoscenti?

This bloated 2-door looks like a possibly hatchback version of the Bentley GT

Vehicle: Phoenix?

A 2 door muscle car, resembling a Trans Am. This car could possibly be a new Phoenix.

Vehicle: Tornado?

This was found far in the background so it is pixelated, but it does resemble a 50's Chevy Impala. It is possible that this car could be the return of the Tornado from GTA:SA.

Vehicle: Mystery Sedan

This sedan is similar to the Schafter from TBoGT, but it could be a newer version of virtually any sedan from GTA IV.

Vehicle: Police Cruiser

Based off the Ford Crown Victoria, here is the LSPD/SAPD Vapid Police cruiser, very similar to the one from GTA IV. More Pictures: 1

Vehicle: Taxi

Again, based off the Ford Crown Victoria, this is GTA V's taxi, although it is hard to see in the screenshot.

Vehicle: Mystery Econobox

This car, looking like a Dumb Car or Toyota IQ, was found far in the pixelated background, so it's hard to tell what exactly it is. More Pictures: 1

Vehicle: Mesa Grande?

Resembling the Jeep Wrangler, this car is probably the return of the Mesa Grande from SA + VC.

Vehicle: Bobcat?

Although looking very similar to the possible Mesa above, this vehicle has a more military look and people can now sit in the bed.

Vehicle: Burrito?

This van is most likely the Burrito's successor, as it has the same badges and shape, just different taillights.

Vehicle: Updated Huntley?

Looking similar to the Huntley Sport from GTA IV, this could either be an updated model or an entirely new car.

Vehicle: Mystery SUV

Even though the picture is very pixelated, it is easy to see that it is based off the Infiniti FX. More Pictures: 1

Vehicle: Caddy

The Caddy is in GTA V, looking very similar to the Caddy that was included in the Ballad of Gay Tony DLC for GTA IV.

Vehicle: Trailers

Trailers, and thus probably delivery missions, are back in GTA V.

Aircraft

Vehicle: Hydra

The famous Hydra from SA is back! This new screenshot shows an altered version from the one that we saw in the trailer; It is now mostly based on the F-16 Fighting Falcon. NOTE: The jet from the 1st trailer was a hybrid of the Harrier II and F-35. Time will tell if there are two different jets, or if Rockstar simply updated the Hydra since the first trailer. Vehicle: Shamal

The Shamal from SA is back.

Vehicle: Skimmer

The Skimmer, also known as that-one-plane-that-floats-on-water is back from SA.

Vehicle: Cropduster

The Cropduster Bi-Plane from San Andreas returns. More Pictures: 1

Vehicle: Maverick?

The Maverick has changed since GTA IV, now sporting 3 blades and a different body, and an SAPD/LSPD paintjob. NOTE: The police Maverick from the 1st trailer was the same body as the GTA IV Maverick. It is unknown if both the helicopter we saw in the trailer and the one in the screenshot will both be in GTA V, or if R* just updated the helicopter since the trailer. More Pictures: 1 2

Vehicle: Blimp

As you can see in the skyline during some parts of the trailer, theres a blimp, who knows if it will be flyable though... or damageable. Related thread: Blimps in GTA V

For the first time on a non-mobile Grand Theft Auto (VCS and CTW), the jet ski is here.

Vehicles from GTA IV appearing in the GTA V trailer
Since these vehicles are from GTA IV, they could either be in the game or just in the trailer as filler
because R* didn't have any other new vehicles ready for demonstration:

Nice. Fixed Dodo -> Cropduster for you. Dodo is based on Cessna 152, and was never a biplane. Cropduster was one of the two biplanes in San Andreas, and this is obviously it.

I also don't think Turismo is the Turismo. Hood looks way too different from IV, and I think most cars will remain similar. But I have no idea what it is, so w/e for now.

Yeah, looks like I need to fire up the old SA again

And yeah, I don't know what else it could be and didn't just want to put "Audi R8 Clone" so I just settled with that haha, feel free to change it to w/e.

I see you mentioned real equivalents of some vehicles. If you want to do the same for aircraft, here they are.

Hydra - Harrier II, but with tail from F-35 Lightning II
Cropduster - Grumman G-164 Ag-Cat
Police Maverick - Bell 206L Long Ranger

Oh, yeah, you completely forgot the new Shamal, which is based on Learjet 55.

I thought it was just the Phantom?

@John is it possible to make those pics smaller? They stretched the page. Also I added the buffalo to the list of GTA IV cars
