It did certainly not have the....GTA feel? I felt like I was looking at Just Cause or something like that. Don't know why.

I couldn't figure out which the protagonist was, though, was it the old one with the short black hair? I thought it was Vice for a second...

And check out the new graphics. Heat/jet stream effect coming off the Helicopter engine and the Fighter Jet exhaust!!

Yes, but to be fair alot of things in cut scenes are normally in-game as well, or has been the case in past games.

When I watched the trailer I thought it was CJ, but now that we have a static picture, I think it isn't him because of the face, he was never that chubby cheeked even if you went overboard eating burgers.


The picture of the beach, while I admit it could be Los Santos does make me think more of vice city, obviously it's conjecture but I wonder if they would have pushed the engine limits so much further into having a few missions in some areas of VC in the same way as the gta:sa had those LC missions.

The mountainous scene with the forest trees etc looks sort of like a hollywood painted scene background, slightly unreal, obviously that can be the GTA style but is it just a place for photos to be taken.

Finally, while I don't know much about the real cities such as LA, isn't in nearer las vegas and san francisco etc that the oil fields are implying that it is the entire state? Though R* confirmed it's set in San Andreas, but of course as someone previously pointed out Los Santos is 'IN' San Andreas and it may be their wording is designed to trick you.

Personally (and okay this isn't trailer based) my main feeling is that it should all be made completely by R* North (pc,ps and xbox), and should therefore play the same on all machines, I personally have gone through three high-specced next gen PCs since the original gta4 was released and I still haven't had a pc that runs it without tons of bugs and graphics glitches (EFLC was alot better).

Wonder if we can drive trains again
