I don't think you should use this topic to post screenshots from a mod that is previously banned because of the rules (as I recall).

Can you tell me what you and your team motivates you to convert a new gta to a old one? What is the purpose of the mod and why would you want to play IV-LC on a outdated engine?

Some words:
- Demo version going to be released even in this week. We only have to do some things (not about map, and nothing about in-game). As I said earlier - DEMO will contain bronx w, w2, e & e2 parts.

- First beta will arrive maybe in this month.

- Why we have that big manhat progress? I said somewhere, that there is a guy, who is helping me. His nick is LIPTON. Also vans123 gave me promission for using his manhat_01 & 2, so it speeded up.

PS: Could anybody write to moderator for giving premission for opening new topic/ unlocking old one? It is possible, because hellya2011 have his own topic, but he is doing almost the same mod. So why we can't have it?

Looks awesome so far, wish it had the WTC on it, always I play SA I feel like I'm playing in and before 1992:P

@Blaster: why to convert an more recent GTA to an older one?

Some people can't play IV due to their computers, or prefer playing SA due to the bigger variety of mods...

Here are some informations about the sound progress:
changed sounds so far:
-weapons
-vice city car doors
-vice city car horns
-some tommy sounds
-vice city maverick sound
-deleted loading sound
-added vice city pcj-600 sound
-vice city car damage (when you hit car with melee or fist)
-sounds when you hit somenone with fist
-mission accomplished sound
-gogo space monkey minigame sound (the sound from the
arcade machines in gta vice city)
-molotov coctail sound
-vice city weapon reloading sound
-vice city engine starting sound
-added vice city regina/kaufman sound
-added vice city sabre/sentinel XS sound
-edited car sounds with vehicle audio editor now i guess more than 90% of the car sounds
are the same as in vc
-some information sounds
-some pickup sounds

and now there is a weapon.dat nearly exactly the same as in vice city (i edited melee a little bit too)
where weapon speed, range, damage and more are completely edited.

I agree 100% with you and i think i will first make more tommy sounds so that gives you more vc feeling than the cj sounds.
i will send some updates in a while i think.

i had a question from ValerioV who asked if i added the m4 sound because sa m4 and ak47 sound are the same.
the answer is no i can only add one of the two sounds, now read this. this is what we are going to do.

sa vc
pistol-pistol
silenced-uzi /
deagle-python /
shotgun-shotgun /
sawnoff-spas12
spas12-stubby shotgun /
micro uzi-tec9 /
tec9-mac
mp5-mp5 /
ak47-ruger /
m4-m4
country rifle-laser sniper
sniper-sniper /

/=vice city sound when we change like this

this are ideas for good weapon sounds
maybe it is weard to change tec9 with mac and micro uzi
with tec9 but in when we make the weapons like this
the sounds will be better now you have 8 original vice city
sounds.
if we don't change it like this (i mean with shotgun and
tec9 and stuff) you will only have 5 good sounds

you people don't have to worry about names and weapon.dat
those can be changed and i allready made a complete weapon.dat

i hope everybody who was wondering now understands

New sounds by vicetommy. Expect an update video soon. Also I'm working on map's night lighting.

-swing sound from fist and bat
-knife sound
-tommy pain sounds
-more other tommy sounds like when he picks up money or talking to police in a fight and more
-chainsaw sounds
-vcpd heli support voice
-vcpd boat support voice
-beach and sea sounds (seegull and sea sound)
-garage door sound
-flamethrower sound
-rocket launcher sound
-jumping into water sound
-male screams
-female screams
-phone ringing sounds
-some police reports (when you done something you hear for example: ''station wagon,
yellow, vice point'')
-all information sounds
-all pickup sounds
-''piew'' sound from vice city (what you sometimes hear from a gun)
-something like ''tick'' sound when you shoot at a car
-vice city engine starting sound
-vice city regina/kaufman sound
-vice city sabre/sentinel XS sound
-edited car sounds with vehicle audio editor now i guess more than 90% of the car sounds are the same as in vc
