So I've never ever watched baseball before in my entire life until today, because somehow the Netherlands were in the final against Cuba.
I think it's kind of a shame how baseball is never mentioned anywhere in the newspaper or media, until we're already in the final of the World Championship and everyone goes: How the f*ck did we end up in the finals?
Out of nowhere (at least for most of us) we're suddenly World Champions as the first European country ever and you can bet your ass off that the next newspaper will have it on the front page! I wish I would've followed them before, but I never even realized we qualified.
Anyway, congratulations to all the players and stuff! Awesome work!
