There has been a lot of discussion about this error, well Ive found a way to fix it. It DOES have to do with the save game, BUT you DO NOT have to delete it. Here is what YOU did to cause it. YOU modded a car that was in the save spot, OR maybe even having a modded car in the save spot to begin with. Now this is how you fix it: Take ALL cars out of ALL save games, and then save after you took the cars out. Make sure that there are no more cars in save spots, anywhere. Please tell me if this helped and dont be an a@# saying it didnt work without even trying.

How do I get to all the safehouses before the stupid game crashes?

You should remove the mods, perhaps by backing up the modded vehicle.img, restoring the original version and removing the saved vehicles.

It worked for awhile... but now it's crashing with the same name: SMPA60 ... I deleted my savegames, wasnt very far on them anyway, and it still happens.... how to fix?
