Hello guys!

I'm planning to start my second playthrough for 100% in some time, and what I'd like to know is: is there a way to get to Vice Beach before it is open?

Why I want to know this is because this time I want to do an Ultimate Starter Save - a save where all possible side missions are completed before starting the Storyline.

The issue of getting to Vice Beach again will be solved when I complete 'Beach Patrol' - and that is the main reason I want to get to Vice Beach so early.

All your help and input will be appreciated. Thanks.

You can get to the E island from the beginning (ex: Yankee jump or pipe warp), but you can't do beach patrol before "From Zero to Hero". Even if you could you would still not be able to beat the rip-tide and swim to the E island.

Ah, too bad Beach Patrol is unavailable from the start... Infinite Swimming would be a great asset to me, even if I coldn't swim to Vice Beach...

Well, at least there are Balloons, Rampages and Unique Jumps to do there. 'Crash!', Watersports and Swingers Club will open during the Storyline, so I don't have to bother with them now.

Don't know about PCJ missions and Caddy Daddy though - are those unlocked from the start?

For PS2 I have:

All red balloons (99) popped.
All Unique jumps (36) completed
Taxi, Paramedic, Firefighter and Vigilante completed.
All rampages (35) completed
All PCJ Playgrounds (4) completed
All Sanchez, BMX, Quad Time trials (24) completed
Caddy Daddy and Rush! completed

No storyline missions completed (except "Soldier" prologue) = 49.2% completed

Good! Seems there's a lot possible to do before starting the main set of mission.

Really? So where do I have to find a helicopter for it?

Last time I was taking one from Downtown, but that one's locked before 'From Zero To Hero'.

The Air Ambulance doesn't appear anywhere before "From Zero to Hero"

After having done the second mission, you are able to finish 50% of the game. Rewarding missions that are on the other island or make accessing the other side easier like Beach Patrol and Air Rescue wont be available from the get go, though.

If you shoot all balloons when you still live in the base, there's a bug that wont show any weapons that come after the molotov which is rewarded following 40 or 50 balloons being burst. Not that big of a deal, though.

That's strange i had air ambulance before that mission in other island like police maverick

I have a PS2 starter save in ARMax format, lol. No busted, no wasted, no cheats (in-game or ARMax).

There is no air ambulance before "From Zero to Hero", and Beach Patrol, too.. However, there is the VCPD Maverick available, good for any flying reasons. You won't have all balloon weapons in the base, but three missions and you're out of it so you'll find yourself having all weapons in the first safehouse. There is no big deal!

If you want my ARMax starter save, I can hopefully dig it out for you. (If it actually worked! lol).
