I meant the fact that Claude was supposed to be killed in an ambush, and ended up using the situation to take out the main antagonist of GTA III.

Its been a while since I played GTA 3 so I can't name my fav. But the worst: I can't rember what the name is, but that mission where you had to take cop from the park to the airport. I haven't beat GTA 3 on ps2 because of it. My car always is destroyed before I can get there. F*cking annoying.

That one early mission where you take 8-ball to a cargo ship... I friggin' hate that mission it was too difficult.

It's implied that you take the subway tunnel in that mission. There's no opposition using that route IIRC...so you just need to pick a vehicle that can use the staircases easily, and avoid the subway train.

Alternately, using the Porter tunnel is next best. There's only 3 enemies on the way IIRC...you can ram into 2 of those full speed before they get a chance to fire at you...1 is straight ahead at the S.V. intersection in the tunnel. Weave into oncoming traffic when leaving the tunnel to dodge fire from the 2rd guy (on top of the Northbound tunnel exit), and run over the 3rd as you take the inside corner into the airport terminal entrance.

Taking the lift bridge without a bulletproof vehicle is the most dangerous route. Sniping the guys you can't hit via driveby or dodge fire from makes it a little easier...but there's too many to snipe in the available time.

You can also use a Rhino if you're willing to cheat or a bulletproof vehicle if you still have one (Turismo BP Cheetah, Van Heist BP securicar, etc). They don't move, they just stand there and keep shooting at you, so there's no chance of being carjacked.

I took the Porter Tunnel. I would always flip or get shot to death (plus the drivers in the tunnel would crash into me causing more damage). Never thought of the train tunnel though... Yeah but as fireguy said I just got a tank. First time I cheated on that play through.
