With the huge teams of designers, advanced material technology and infinitely powerful design software the car companies of today have at their disposal...I find it hard to understand just how these things happen.

Alot of cars people consider Ugly I consider Characterful. I love fast Premium SUVs (The "SPORT" in SUV isn't just a word) so the Maserati is right up my street. I Love the Ferrari FF aswell for its sense of humour- the front looks like a cheeky, grinning goblin. It didn't impress me as much as I expected at Goodwood though. The Prowler is wonderfully different & wacky.

Some truly ugly cars:

Looks like they were almost finished on a fastback design, then at the eleventh hour decided to tack on a tailgate and some lights from a Chinese Mercedes knockoff. Abominable.


Every time I see one a strong desire to throttle the woman driving it materialises. They're usually talking on their iphone and wouldn't even notice if they crashed; the car would look no worse. Rumours of a Pre-facelift GTR engined version abound. An eyebrow raiser.
