I'd like to have put the vid in my comment, but I don't know how to.
Being born in '93 I don't really have a lot of memories of songs from that time, but later in my life "What's Up" by 4 Non Blondes came to me as my favorite song. And that song is from 1992.
Oh, and who can forget Spice Girls' "Wannabe"? Very annoying but SUCH a classic.

I love this song:
I don't remember the 90's (being born in 96), but I know some great tunes from that decade.
Yea, I know what you mean, I find most of the music I`d listen to would be from the 90`s to. And at the time being too young to experience it when it was popular and new makes me wish I was born in the 80`s.

Having grown up in the 90s, I used to love alternative rock (and still do) and all of its sub-genres. The biggest bands that stood out to me during the 90s were Nirvana, Jane's Addiction, R.E.M., Green Day, Queensryche, The Smashing Pumpkins, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, U2 and many others who I just can't seem to think of at the moment.
Listened to a lot of Tyketto recently. Hard rock band founded in 1987 and based out of New York City. 'Wings' is my personal favorite song from them. From their 1991 debut album "Don't Come Easy".
